Thankfully we moved far away enough to NOT have to come to this clinic anymore. We advise any and all patients to disregard this clinic... if you can even call it that. OHIP FRAUD HAPPENING HERE ! BE WARNED ! While waiting for the cardiologist appointment, who uses this clinic - we witnessed the front reception staff openly lie to a client that she could not answer his calls as they have a 7 line phone system. The whole time we sat here - almost 2 hours waiting - not one call was answered. There is one point about having bad customer / patient care , it is entirely a different thing to be rude, beligerant, and LIE to your patients. This place is supposed to be for health and wellness - this is the biggest falsity - bad management, bad staff, rude, lie to customers. Clearly when your staff and management do not know how to do their jobs - only THEN do you require 3 signs for a zero tolerance policy. If you know good customer retention, you would know to behave in a professional and courteous manner when discussing with patients. Beligerant and rude behaviour from the staff is evident when they feel the need to post zero tolerance posters all over the front desk. To witness the staff laughing at customers once they walk away is shocking. To say there is a language barrier is also false - coming from someone who speaks their language and witness to several customers who came in and discussed in their language - still to be lied to, beligerant, rude, and laughed at. Absolutely unprofessional code of conduct! This place needs to be actively reported. Also, we witnessed a patient ask for their prescription. The clinic went ahead and sent the patient's prescription to their resident pharmacy without the authorization of the patient. It is up to the patient who they choose for a pharmacy/pharmacist. The patient asked for his prescription 3x and was told he would have to pay for his prescription. This is inappropriate to ask a patient to pay for their prescription for medication - that is what OHIP is for. They are actively fraudulent. They only care about their money, and only accept cash as to not declare to CRA. This would be a highly red flagged, mismanaged, rude, unprofessional place I have ever seen - disgusting practice to see your patients as cash grabs and use their illness to profit at the expense of others. Shame shame shame for this clinic to operate like this. Businesses that are unprofessional that deal with people's health need to be publicly reviewed and avoided. Avoid this place at all costs.
I don’t even know if this place deserves a star. I took my daughter to this walk in clinic. My daughter had a stomach bug that I needed to be looked at. I waited at this horrendous place for two hours. After I was admitted to a room the doctor told me she couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my daughter and that I needed to head to emergency. Can you believe this? I know covid has been going around for some time now but REALLY? Where did you learn medicine? This place is a disgrace. The girl that checks your temperature and seats you in a room is the worst admin I’ve ever met. She told me to wait in a long line to get my so called referral to head to the hospital after I’ve already waited two hours … YOU GUYS ARE A JOKE…. YOU GUYS NEED TO SERIOUSLY SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD.
20-30mins for someone to pickup the phone. Had time to physically walk into the clinic, while still waiting for someone to pickup the phone, only to see the receptionists doing absolutely nothing, no line, not dealing with anyone... With phone still in hand, asked why I'm still on hold waiting for someone to pickup the phone, they had no response and sat with a dumbfounded look... As someone else indicated in a review, the need to put up multiple signs stating zero-tolerance for staff abuse is a telling sign, not of the clients that visit, but of the staff here. When the staff is incompetent and lazy, of course clients are going to be irritated and complain, hence the signs. To the owner/operator of this clinic, is it policy to not answer phone calls? Do you intentionally hire bad staff? Fix your staff issues and there won't be need for client complaints or staff "abuse". Don't expect any sort of good service here. Judging from the long list of bad reviews, clearly the owner/operator doesn't care. On a better note, the doctors are great, only upside to this clinic.
Worst! This place doesn’t deserve any star. Will never recommend this clinic. I had worst experience. I needed medical for my job and they wasted almost one month. My all other friend got their medical done in just 10 days. First, they collected insufficient blood so my blood work cancelled and again I had to go through it. They siad it’s not our mistake this is the mistake of laboratory. It is not just that, there is much more. Like I went the clinic they said me many time come this day , come that day so on……. Super frustrating.
Is there a regulating body to monitor clinics that treat patients like dirt. This clinic should be flagged for some regulatory body. The receptionist are extremely rude and unprofessional. Sends white people in when they shout about the wait times. When asked who the office manager is I was told they don’t know the name. Was also told that they are working under stress. if so why should the patients have to suffer because of their inability to run an efficient clinic. They treat Indian people very badly here. Lie through their teeth. Management needs to educate their staff on customer service which is priority in the medical field.
Because people don’t have much choice, they visit this clinic. Else this place would have been shut since long if there were more doctors and clinics. The staff is trained NOT to take calls. You keep calling and they don’t take your calls. Wait times are lonnnggg ever after taking an appointment. Their service desk doesn’t even know properly about the test report results coming in or not. No courtesy or empathy towards the patients. I only visit because of Dr. Peter, else I wouldn’t even rate this place anywhere.
Used to be great been going here for 6+ years but it’s beyond horrible now. Front desk acts like they are doing everyone a favor by being there when you talk to them in person. If you call them, you are put in hold and never answered. I have been on hold for almost an hour and drove to the clinic while on hold only to see the front desk person just relaxing on the chair doing nothing. I told her I have been on hold for more than an hour and she says they must be busy at the time and when I told her I am still on hold, she just doesn’t respond. People like them shouldn’t be employed anywhere if they feel taking to people nicely is beneath them.
If I had a choice I would give them zero stars, as this clinic is a fraud and they’re just charging OHIP. They need to be investigated and closed immediately. Reception: The ladies at reception are rude, and have no empathy and don’t bother to even pick up phone calls or show compassion and care to sick patients. They sent my prescription to their pharmacy without even asking for permission. I personally didn’t want to have my prescription filled there. Doctors: The doctor rushes to see you, doesn’t listen to the symptoms and subscribes medication that is unnecessarily not needed. I was given antibiotics, however, when I went to my family doctor, they told me I did not need antibiotics because I had a cold and not an infection to the chest. The clinic is a fraud, and I would not recommend anyone to visit this clinic.
I’ve called 3 days in a row to get to ask 1 question. And every time I call I’m put on hold that take over an hour. I’ve been at the clinic and never seen them answer the phone. This is not acceptable. What makes it worse is that it’s a question that wouldn’t take more than 2 seconds to answer. I’m at a loss as to why they don’t answer. What are they doing? I will not be going to this urgent care again after this
They provide ridiculous service. They don’t understand the meaning of the word “Urgent”. I went in person in the afternoon for a prescription refill in emergency as my family doctor was not available. They told me that the doctor only does refills over the phone and told me I’ll get a call for it around 5. I followed around 4 times on the call and never received a call till 8. I don’t expect a call anymore. It’s so frustrating because I need my medicines before dinner and I had mentioned them about it but it did not matter. Will never go again and advise everyone to find some other clinic for a better service.
