My neighborhood giant thrift store. How can anyone not visit and check out Coquitlam's Value Village. Just blocks away from Coquitlam Center mall and a SkyTrain station. Large free parking lot and a convenient drop off area for reusable goods. Whatever you're looking for; cooking supplies, household items, toys, books, games, clothing, shoes, electronics, cd's, dvd's, record albums, jewelry, sports equipment and much more. A recommended visit if you have time.
This has to be the most overstocked Value Village I've ever seen, but here's the deal, it's all really neat and organized. We found it a little overwhelming but if you know how much product there is going in, it may calm the nerves! The staff were very pleasant and hardworking. It didn't take much time to get through the register, and of course Tuesday is seniors day with 30% off. Parking is a wee bit tricky but one trip around the parking lot did the trick. Amazing experience, if you are a thrift store junkie we confess, you definitely want to check this out.
Very expensive. Everything was processed very expensive. I was very disappointed. Some of the stuff were equally priced like the shops. A mediume server plate was priced $20, same as the Winners price. Couldn’t buy anything for home. Preferred to go to stores and buy them new. I drove for very long to go there. Disappointing. Not sure if it might be the rents going high or what, but crazy prices. There were saucers, each of them were priced 4 dollars, I was shocked, a small cup with the saucer was 10 dollars. Not a 4 cup set or anything. Just two!
I like coming here because I can relax and zone out as there so much to look at and it’s a large location so usually can have some space between other people. There are several cons however ; no change rooms which is a bit ridiculous and it is insanely over priced. They get these items for FREE and I just saw a used lu lu lemon dress for 50$. That’s ridiculous. This item was given to you and you charge that ? I come here because I can afford it but this by no means is charity nor a cheap place to shop. I would encourage people to donate their clothes , especially designer to real charities. Because at this point these people are just theives. I try to donate my clothes to smaller real charities like shelters or donation bins outside of churches.
Accused me of stealing a saucer that was a set item with a cup. The supervisor was hovering behind me to check if I was in fact trying to steal the cup saucer. I had to explain three times that it was a set item because it clearly indicated x2 two item set on the price tag. After she realized that this was the case, she didn't apologize but rather just walked away. I don't get how you could be so rude. 0 chill.
