Have had the opportunity to have Indian cuisine at a number of places. This ranks right up there! Food was amazing and plentiful. There was 6 of us and we took 3 bags home with us Service was exceptional. Can't wait to come back.
You can't find anything indian here, may be a blend of something ... yes. I can cook better tandoori or kebab than what they are doing there. My experience with the food was worse, it was like cooked for the sake. To the management... please hire a better cook, we love to see your restaurant No 1. In victoria, but whomever working with you is not fit. My friends also shared the same experience about food, we won't be coming again at your place.
The staff are always exceptionally nice and helpful with the menu. I have been here a few times for take out and I been happy every time, I don't know much about indian food but I enjoy the lamb chunks I get, I yet to dine in.
Had an excellent dinner here. The prices were reasonable and the food tasted freshly prepared not always the case with Indian. The naan was excellent as was the vindaloo. Definitely a go to for Indian
Love the food and friendly staff. I get a meal each day of two dishes that comes with rice and naan or roti for a very reasonable price each month. It is so delicious and great not to have to cook after a long day at work.
Average quality restaurant. I ordered Chicken masala Curry, vegetable curry, naan and chicken biriyani. Cooking time was quick, but the food was average quality, specially the vegetable mix was the worst, was not cooked at all. I might not go back again. I have been exploring all Indian restaurants in the island. I found two restaurants which are really good so far; Victoria’s Biriyani Palace and Lady Smith’s Spice Hut Don’t confuse with other Spice Hits, all are different. Both restaurant’s each food test according to the menu, but when I find restaurants use same sauce for all items curries, biriyani etc it testes same. Sizzling Tandoor and Turmeric Indian cuisine are in this category, they try to make easy and quick recipes but all test same. Sorry, not my favourite. I don’t mind to wait for good food.
I asked if they could get a meal on the table fast, because l did not have a lot of time for lunch. I had a vindaloo curry with lamb and it was delicious!! In and out in 25 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My family and I enjoy this restaurant a lot, we are from Colombia and one of the things we miss is the good food and service and this restaurant has both, Raj was or waiter and service was excelent and of course food is always good in fhis place, we love it so much that we are coming at least twice a month. How we found this place? Because we tried the butter chicken in a house we were invited and once we tried this food we asked the host were he got this food and they told us in Turmeric Indian Cuisine.
Ordered vegetable Aloo Gobi and few other curries. Looks like all the curry was made with same curry base. The potatoes were cooked in microwave and thrown the gravy on it. Nothing authentic, very bad food. Will not recommend. Vegetarian options: The cauliflower was tasting old and tasteless.
Food was good,I came here second time,friendly staff,must try their jalfrezi chicken it’s too good if u chicken lover.
