This is where the locals go for good Indian, originally from Surrey they had a big challenge to win us over. They stepped up and killed it. The food was great the staff was smiling and helpful very tasty fresh and hot.

Ordered for dinner tonight to go. My wife heard that this restaurant is good. Being Indian I'm always a hard critic. I was definitely surprised with the taste and spice level was great. We ordered lamb rogan josh and butter chicken with naan. I eat Indian food all the time but this place really left a lasting impression next time I will try some of my favorites from growing up. Looking forward to next time. Take out only

This was my first time coming to Spice Valley and I’m addicted!! I have always shyed away from Indian food because of it being really spicy, but they cater to your heat tolerance level. The owners are super sweet and treat you like you are family. This establishment is what everyone should experience at least once! The food is so good I’ve been here in Victoria for 2 weeks and have been to Spice Valley 5 times! No restaurant has ever been able to entice me like this. The cooks are amazing, Gajendra and Prahlad give it their all. Kamlesh the manager visits your table to personally see how your meal is going. I will definitely be back. You have made a friend for life. Thank you so much for making my visit to Victoria memorable. August 26/22 Just ordered take out from Spice Valley and they did not disappoint!! The food was amazing and very filling. Can’t wait till my next visit!

Spice valley is our go-to Indian place, especially for vegan options! It is perfect for sharing as they have something for everyone. The staff are wonderful, food is amazing and affordable, and is a local business I am so happy I found. Try it and you won’t go back to your old fav! Promise!

The food is really good. I order medium spice at every other restaurant, but here I order mild and it's definitely spicey enough for me. So beware, and I suggest ordering a level below the spice level you normally do. If you like mild, I don't know what to tell you, you probably won't like it.

Friendly owner and staff especially Akhil Mathew, serving Very tasty food! Fresh ingredients cooked right and Good portion sizes. Highly recommended, I'll be back for more soon!

Hands down to the best Indian food restaurant in Victoria,BC. They have delicious and savoury foods in a budget price with a huge quantity . You can find the perfect combination of South and north Indian food here. Perfect place for a foodie as you can get it spicier or normal. Especially their beef coconut curry, butter naan, butter chicken, starters and biriyani is lit.

My first time here, recommended by a guy that works at a store nearby. Absolutely coming back, I am so happy with the food and the service was super super helpful with my dairy allergy, the guy offered a number of items that can be made without dairy. I completely devoured without a breath hahaha honeslty very delicious lamb might get the mild spice next time but still very delicious also I very much enjoyed the coconut nan bread , perfectly balanced sweet with coconut ! The salad I got was alright, maybe they could work on another salad recipe, maybe something a little more sauce , I got an onion cucumber salad with some sort of light spice on , still good ! Overall I'm happy and definitely coming back ! Thankyou everyone that works there ! Ps I dont usually post but I am just so pleased with the service and food so I just had to write a review !

Good not great. Glad we tried it but not outstanding and wouldn’t go back unless someone we were with wanted to go. The veg pakoras were really good, probably best dish we had. The paneer was quite good, the onion with it too raw but the actual paneer was good paneer. The daal makhani was good but nothing special. The eggplant bhartha was again good but nothing spectacular. Nothing bad about it just not the best Indian food we’ve had, a solid meal but wouldn’t go out of our way to go again.
