This bakery has a long and respected tradition in wholesome, excellent quality breads. Their wholewheat, multi grain, sunflower, pumpkin are the best and tastiest one can get. Great choice of gluten free and healthy deserts. The authentic, locally milled flours they use give their breads that home made, satisfying taste you cannot get anywhere else. Their ginger bread man/ bears/rabbits.. cookies delighted a few generations of children and parents with their looks, taste and high quality. The chocolate and almond croissants had so much almond paste they were soggy. The scones were dry and flavourless. The cinnamon buns were hard and stale. The egg and ham pastries were totally flavourless. It was overpriced and unappetizing. We ended up throwing most of it away. First time there. Will never be back. Beautiful shop though.

Amazing work from the ladies at Trillium! I ordered a cake and they had less than 24hours. It was an amazing cake. Would defs order from them again. A little pricey but so worth it.

If you are looking for real bread, they have quite a selection. Also they use flour from real stone mill from Upper Canada Village. That flour is made of one of the first Ontario wheats based of Red Fife wheat. If I remember correctly they use only 50% of it mixing it with regular flour as Red Fife based one is high on protein and bread loafs made of 100% is quite dense and heavy. You can ask staff for details of each type of bread they have. It tastes very good.

I would like to rate this in minus but unfortunately that option is not available here. The bakery spoiled my daughters first birthday. We ordered a cake for my daughters first birthday. It arrived on time but it was everything but a cake. We were embarrassed when it was time to cut the cake because even the biggest and sharpest knife could not cut it. Infact, It was a raw solid cake batter that was as hard as a stone with some chocolate on top of it. Rest you guys could imagine the disappointment and embarrassment we may have faced. I am cursing myself why didn't I buy a 5 dollar cake from WallMart instead of ordering with Trillium bakery because at least we could have cut the cake to celebrate our daughters birthday. Long storey shot it is a SHAME.
