Do it! Order that custom cake! We are so thrilled with all of the cakes we’ve ordered from here!! They’re able to take our vague ideas and make them into delicious and truly incredible cakes! Cannot recommend highly enough! Also the little cakes they sell in store are so tasty!
First time I bought a cake here. It was beautiful. They did go above and beyond to make it unique. The cake was a little too sweet for us, but overall, we were delighted. From the email exchanges to the pick up of the cake, it was quick, easy and pleasant. Definitely will be a returning customer. Thank you to the ACD Team for the amazing experience.
Absolutely fantastic customer service and execution! I ordered a custom cake for my sister's surprise grad party. James and Andrew were incredibly communicative and accommodating. It was easy to get all the components I had wanted for the cake - they made the little kiwi bird cupcake perfectly! I was late for delivery but Andrew was still very patient and pleasant. I could not have asked for a better cake or experience. The cake was INCREDIBLE, especially the icing. Highly recommend Artistic Cake design!
Using a low resolution screengrab of a video of a cake my mom had as a kid in the 60s, I asked James and Andrew if they might be able to recreate a similar cake for her birthday. They didn't hesitate, and did they ever exceed my expectations! The horseshoe-shaped cake was stunning and brought tears to my mom's eyes, as it looked so much like the cakes her parents would treat her and her siblings to on their birthdays as children. It was truly incredible. They kept it true to its origins, adding a delicate modern touch to rejuvenate and update its look. To stay true to the original cake, they used traditional buttercream frosting as opposed to a more common fondant, which is an important detail only truly gifted bakers and artists would think of. I could not recommend them more. I will be recommending Artistic Cake Designs to all my friends and colleagues and aunts and uncles and neighbours moving forward. ; Oh! And it tasted as good as it looked. Thank you for helping us create such a memorable birthday for my mom who typically dislikes celebrating her birthday.
Great experience for my son’s birthday. They are very quick to respond. The pick up in their boutique was quick and very friendly. I ordered a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and it was delicious. I recommend for your events
I highly recommend Artistic Cake Design for any and all events. They went above and beyond to make sure the design was exactly what I wanted. The only cake shop that responded promptly and met me in person to understand the design. In addition, their pricing is amazing for the service they deliver. My baby shower cake was entirely edible, beautiful and so very delicious. The icing as my guests said was the best they ever had. The cake moist and delicious. I could go on.... In a nut shell all my future cake needs will be from Artistic Cake Design. James and Andrew thank you.
First time customer. I ordered the princess cake for my 6 year old daughter and we'll definitely be repeat customers. We did the half and half vanilla /chocolate and it was delicious. The cake itself was so moist and had just the right amount of icing. The design itself was done amazingly well too. Couldn't be any better. Of course, my daughter was ecstatic as were all of her friends and friends' parents. Thank you!
Consistently OUTSTANDING!!! We've been going to Artistic Cake design for the past 27 years. Their cakes have been excellent with every event, Wedding ,birthday, Mother's day and on. Over the past several months during COVID we have purchased several scrumptious birthday cakes and most recently some gorgeous and delicious grab-n-go cupcakes. Artistic Cake Design prepared a cake for my sons wedding. The cake was delicious, beautifully prepared and delivered on time in perfect condition.
