This campground was very quiet and nice. Even though it was in the 90's during the day, it got nice and cool during the night. I'm sure it helps being right by the Klamath river. At the time we were there, the blackberry bushes were in full bloom and boy-oh-boy were they delicious! Part of the reason I gave 4 stars is that the dedicated walking paths were completely overgrown and just dead-ended at one point. One thing that was super weird about the walking path was that after the dead end and going back to an alternate path it literally puts you to someone's private drive!! You look to your right and there's a gate with a sign on it that says "GO AWAY" with another sign saying, "Private Property". So that was weird. Battle pit toilets were clean which was nice. Then of course the river is running right by the campsite, so you can hear it running at night.

I've been to a number of campsites and this is by far the best. Beautiful river and mountain valley sunset is to live for. Enough to forget about the highway right by it

Very scenic and campsites are fairly well spaced out. Well shaded. The main downside is the Klamath River Hwy which is basically above the campground. There is a fair amount of highway noise at night but this does mean that the road is paved all the way. I would definitely camp here again.

Cool location and a nice camping ground but the spaces are really close together.
