What a beautiful place at the base of Mt Shasta. There is a tremendous amount of good energy here. A small creek from the springs runs through the campground. I lucked out and scored spot #7. I attached a picture of the view from my spot. It is first come first serve and there are only 14 sites so arrive early. It did fill up on a Tuesday night but at $10 it's to be expected. Pit toilets and pump drinking water.

Since it's a self-service campground, it was possible for us to come in for half an hour at night just for stargazing. Amazing view!

Great campground. Only 12 sites. Full by 630pm! I got site 6. Perfect campsite! No view of Shasta but a great view of the stars with privacy and trees. Hung a hammock and pitched a tent. It was quiet and peaceful all night.

Perfect little campground. No reservations accepted. First come first serve but I always seem to get a spot! For $10 you can't beat it. Super quiet. Some sites have bear boxes, some have grill pits. Two outhouse bathrooms available. Use at your own risk. There is a water pump down a trail on the back loop. Easy to miss the sign.

This place is amazing! For $10 a night you can't go wrong. No running water like they advertise but the sites are in a beautiful location right in between the city and the higher parts of the mountain.
