Blue Heron RV Park is a very nice park 6 miles east of the freeway. Plenty of room for big rigs with nose in river view, great for bird watching. Nice wide level cement parking pad with a picnic table. The restaurant is closed. The last 4 miles of the road coming in is rough but not much worse than HWY 101!! Iron Gate reservoir is just a short drive on up the road. We would stay again.

Looking for quite and beauty this is the spot. A bit of a drive off the main highway but worth it. Large sites and every riverside site has an unobstructed view of your own. Grounds are manicured like a park.

This was a lovely quiet resort. The road getting there was very bumpy so you'll have to go slow and take it easy.
