McCloud RV Resort was formally known as McCloud Dance Country RV Park. We are a full service campground accommodating all campers. May to October

Story

We are a family own and operated business providing clean, family oriented camping. We have beautiful lush grounds with creeks and ponds. McCloud area is fed by natural spring water from the glaziers of Mount Shasta and we have a gorgeous view of the mountain. We are pet friendly.

Clean and friendly, We stay here with friends and family for different McCloud events and find this RV park to be one of the best, The owners are friendly and helpful. It is located centrally. A quick walk to town and a short drive to Lake McCloud or the McCloud River. Sometimes we just come to get out of the heat.

Amazing place! The staff was friendly and the rates we're actually decent. Though, it was packed with about 150 people and there was 2 showers per gender. Other than that it was the best rv park I've been to. The kids could ride their bikes with paved pathways.

Sites are closer together than we prefer (awnings are within inches of the next RV's slide-outs), grounds well kept, facilities clean, staff very nice but the owner is as arrogant as anyone I've ever met. We reserved and paid for a tent site and RV site for 3 nights. On our last day while taking everything down THE OWNER decided to pull up the tent the kids were staying 2 hours before checkout with all their things inside and drag it to the dirt so he could water the lawn. When I confronted him he did not apologize or seem to care in the least only saying he needed to water the lawn - keep in mind this is a $30 per night tent site and again, this was THE OWNER who did this. When we told him we would not be back he said that was fine as they "were always full". A simple apology would have been fine by me. Instead I'm making sure as many people as possible know about our experience.

We always have a great time at McCloud RV camp grounds. The new owners are wonderful but so we're the old owners. It is a wonderful relaxing place to visit.

Very scenic RV park. The site we were in was so close to the next RV we couldn't see the beauty. Just the sides of the other RV'S.
