Great flavor, server was friendly and welcoming. I had the charcoal ramen. **my only suggestion for owner is to consider increasing size of bowl, and add a bit more soup stock for each serving. This would make you slightly more competitive to competitors down the street.
One of the best ramen shops in Vancouver. Never disappoints and the simple menu is very effective. The noodles are unique with a great chew and I always enjoy the charcoal ramen. Rich creamy broth that is perfect for a chilly day. Limited seating so a queue is expected during peak times.Recommended dishesSoft Boiled Egg, Diced Pork Chashu, Gyoza & Recommanded Ramen
I had no expectations because there are so many Ramen places in town. I ordered simply a Shio, which they claim is made of Himalayan salt. Being a ramen lover, I’ve had no less than four bowls of Ramen in the past two weeks. I was a little tired with the heavy flavor, and that’s why I ordered the simplest flavour possible. I was surprised, everything fits in perfectly. I like it!
I went there with my family. We all loved the ramen. A lovely place, great service and amazing food!
Their chashu is amazing! The broth is very rich and flavourful perhaps a bit salty for some. The extra spicy was reasonably spicy... I coulda used a bit more heat, but I know I tend to be a bit extreme with spice. Cute place, good service. Will be back.
I'd rate it 4.5/5. It's the best ramen I've tried in Vancouver and the decor/seating is limited but really cute and reminiscent of Japan. It would be a great spot to get a late dinner and beer after a summer day at English Bay.
Best ramen place I’ve been to in Vancouver by far and it’s very cheap $13 for ramen considering how inflated food prices have become recently. Options are somewhat limited but everything they do have is amazing. Recommend the Tonkotsu Ramen Shoyo and the diced chashu.
One of the best ramens I’ve had. I got the staff recommended tonkotsu ramen shoyu. It was so good I cleaned the entire bowl including the broth. The menu may be limited but for what you’re getting is an absolutely great value. Thank you to the server and ramen chef for their impeccable service. Arigato!
Doubt I will be adding anything new to these reviews when I say this place is great. The restaurant is modest, but the ramen exceptional. The broth sublime.
Very good ramen in a ramen bar style place with limited seating overheard the shopkeeper speaking Japanese so authenticity +1. Highly recommend their shoyu ramen and spicy gyoza!
