Shogun/Sapporo Ramen

This is one of Vancouver's oldest Japanese restaurants. I think it's on its' second owner, but the quality is just as great. Large servings reasonable prices. This place is an old reliable. I recommend their Ramen on a cold day. They also have good "don" or rice toppings dishes. Their curry is great also.

What a great surprise this place is. I wish I had found it 5 years ago when I came to the neighbourhood. Possibly the best ramen I have tasted, great flavours, not salty and very authentic tasting.

I had Shrimp Curry on Vegetarian Fried Rice and it is amazing. The flavours and textures are so delicious. I should mention I usually take my orders to go, and that doesn’t change the quality in the slightest! Highly recommend getting a taste!

Good ramen restaurant for lunch!

I had a chicken curry fried rice yesterday. The fried rice was overly greasy. I could pour oil out of the container after finishing the rice. Something was also wrong with the curry because I had a stomachache afterwards.

Strong soup base flavour. Ok price. Ok ingredients. Good place for a quick lunch.

A great place to have lunch during the week. Had the Chashu Udon, and they gave us complimentary Wonton. Service was extremely friendly, food was great!

Ordered the karaage miso ramen. Tasted like tomato soup, and why is it so dark!? Not going back.
