Decent yet affordable Japanese dishes with great customer service. We had to queue for 20 minutes but were served within 10 minutes despite being full house. Flavors were fair although the curry udon soup could be richer.
Giving a 5 star based on the food that we had. The BEST would be the CHEESECAKE with red bean base! It taste sooooo good! We also had the gyudon which a little tasteless and the curry chicken is the standard Japanese curry from the box. Fast service and can’t expect them to pay extra attention during busy hours.
Pretty solid meal for a great price. Katsu-curry was 12.50 euro. Curry was a bit weak but the katsu was fried perfectly. Taste is very authentic. Service was pretty good as well! There’s always a line though, service for food was fast. Chefs are Japanese
Best Japanese food in Paris. Perfection in terms of quality, price, variety, atmosphere, and service. I would come back hundreds of times. It is like being at a Ramen restaurant in Tokyo.
Loved it! Lots of choices. Long queues but we didn't wait more than 10-15 minutes. Service is super fast, you can see the kitchen from your table. Food was lovely, good portions, comforting. Specially loved the udon soup with beef. Price is good for Paris. There was a missunderstanding with one of the things we ordered and they changed it with no issues, really cool staff. Recommend if you like Japanese food!!
2022 just came in ! My wife and I wanted to celebrate in a japonese restaurant and came across Kintaro. An absolute surprise ! We had a tamago curry beef and egg curry with rice and the typical ramen, both were so tasty ! You must visit this place if you’re looking for a 100% japonese lunch or dinner. Loved it !
Extremely fast service Japanese restaurant. Vast variety and delicious food, you can find udon, ramen, curry rice, noodles,... The kitchen is wide open, the food is prepared in front of you, like a kitchen bar. Portion is big and not expensive at all. Recommended.
It was a perfect Japanese choice! The menu had variety of japanese food including Ramen, Oden, and more! Although it was quite crowded in the middle of the week, we could easily get a table as they have a large salon. The food served in a short amount of time just after we ordered. We had chashu Ramen and Yaki Udon. Meal tasted delicious, in proper portion, with good prices average and place is nice. Just to mention, both our dishes were salty and we had to drink water for hours.
It was okay, but unfortunately there are plenty places in the area, that offer much better quality food for the same price. I would probably recommend it to people who want to try something new, but not sure what they want and don’t eat spicy food. Everything was prepared fast, and the waiters were very nice, but there was nothing really special about the food. I’m happy they had chilli powder, soy and hot sauce on the tables, so I could customise the food.
Good place to try, fast service, really nice staff and pretty decent food, really affordable. We took the gyoza not the best that we have tried but good and some ramen. The mapo tofu one was good spicy but maybe it was lacking other flavours. Noodles were pretty decent. Just a side note, we arrived before 6pm and the vegetarian ramen was not available until 7pm-7:30pm because the person preparing it wasn’t there. It was really a pity because there was no other vegetarian « soup » option. Kinda disappointed for this part. But the staff is really nice.
