This is another nice fine restaurant in Port Elgin. It opens only Wednesday Thursday 5 to 9PM and Friday Saturday 5 to 10PM in winter. It opens for lunch only in summer. Very clean and nice establishment and nice environment for a perfect quiet dinner. I attended office Christmas party and my order was three course: WSP Salad; mixed field greens, tomatoes, red onion, walnuts, sliced apple, chèvre tossed with an herb vinaigrette, medium size to match with three course, very good quality. Main course was Maple Pecan crusted salmon, perfectly baked with delicious crust and balance spices blended with it. The desert Creme Brûlée ; a custard base topped with a textually constraining layer of hardened caramelized sugar, see the picture below. Again good quality with delicious less sugar custard which I ate all however half of crust. My bill with two drinks including tip was $77 because of special holiday order. If you see their menu on the website it is not pricy restaurant but with great quality. When in Port Elgin a must go for decent food and environment. Enjoy.

Not bad. Pesto shrimp on basmatti rice was nothing special onions, cherry tomatoes, light pesto but still pretty tasty and shrimp was well cooked. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My wife's salad was drowned in vinegar, so much so, that she was making that sour lemon face. Which is cute by the way We mentioned it to the server politely but no offer to compensate. Might be back. Not sure.

The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. It is definitely one of the best date night dinner options in the Port Elgin area. The food was decent. My steak was a bit over cooked but, seasoned properly. It was clear that it sat in the kitchen as it was a bit cold. I was disappointed that I asked for some butter for my meal and it never arrived. Attention to tables was a bit lacking. Mostly, I am surprised that the menu has stayed very much the same as last year. I expected some growth and creativity from such a fine establishment.

Staff is friendly but we weren't crazy about the food. We tried their special and we didn't like it at all. They comped it and let us pick something else which was not something we were expecting. I'd definitely give this place another chance though. Their atmosphere is very romantic. Great for date night. We didn't try dessert so I cannot comment on that. They're licensed to let you take home your bottle of wine if you don't finish it.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the upstairs dining room. Nice Atmosphere, great wine list and the Mussels appetizer was very good.  The salmon crock was delicious however the Moroccan Lamb was disappointing as the menu description did not match the dish, we were pleasantly surprised that the owner came out to offer a replacement and assured us the menu would be corrected. Staff were very pleasant but could use a little more training to avoid mishaps.

Enjoyed an excellent dinner on the patio.  The specials were excellent - slow smoked beef ribs; honey and walnut crusted arctic char.... The menu items ordered were also excellent a charcuterie board, caesar salad, lobster and crab tortellini.  Julia and Joe were warm and welcoming!  Great spot for fresh, well crafted, and delicious food.  Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing atmosphere and staff, and absolutely incredible food. Had the mussels and the butternut squash ravioli after a long day of biking and it was exactly what I was looking for, big portion sizes and the amuse bouche was delicious! I'll definitely be back in the future!

My go to place for a relaxing, romantic evening. Atmosphere like none other in Bruce County. Food never fails to impress. Staff are on point and very pleasant. Restaurant is always clean and organized. Will come back again and again.!!

Disappointed with this restaurant.  Steak overcooked and ran out of steaks on a Saturday night so could not rectify.  Waitress exhibits hubristic behaviour.  *Edited review upon response from Restaurant 08.07.18 Yes, I agree with in your words "for the record" yes you did offer any other meal at no charge. I however did not want another meal on your menu.  In response to your statement that I continued eating my over cooked steak IS NOT TRUE, that is a lie and I find it extremely petty and unprofessional that you would say this.

What a great place.  We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much the first night, we went back for a 2nd night.  Food was excellent.  Service and people were awesome.  Thank you for 2 very excellent evenings.
