We ordered 3 spicy veggie, and got one spicy Mcveggie and 2 regular mcveggie.nThis was so disappointing and when we try to call them they did not answer the call.

I looked up the hours at this location Port Elgin before I left the house. According to Google they are open 24/7. I drove to McDonald’s from out of town specifically for McDonald’s as they are the only restaurant/take out that is open in the middle of the night. Sign was still lit up, all lights still on, drive thru menu signs were all still on and even told me to “pull up to the next order point”, but no one was there to take my order.. after a minute of shouting “Hello???” I eventually pulled up to the window where there stood a tiny oriental lady shaking her head and waving me to go away…. All lights and signs are on, hours clearly state that this location is open 24/7, no other signs or notes anywhere stating otherwise, yet I was denied service without any logical reason or explanation.

Got there at October 4th, 3AM and no one was there to serve drive thru even though sign says drive thru 24/7. I ended up getting out of drive thru going to the front door and there was one male worker who said they would open at 5? He didn’t open the door to chat, just put 5 fingers up through the glass. Didn’t even say go through drive thru. Dissapointed. Never had complaints about the food and coffee here but morning service is slower compared to the competitors like Tim Hortons in town, which can be frustrating. Cashier is usually making coffee whereas in Tim Hortons, cashier just looks after customers and someone else makes coffee to make service go faster.

drove 12 hrs to get to port elgin. sort of relying on fast food to come in clutch after the drive. Mcdonald’s Port Elgin advertises itself as 24 hrs. it’s not. even when ordering 15 mins prior to closing on the app…. arrived at 11:55 and they said they were closed. argued with me nonstop. disappointing and likely to stop trusting mcdonalds. like this was the breaking point ?

The customer service here is horrible now . I ordered a score mcFlurry and asked for extra score bits on the top it come out all mixed in and didn’t even have any in it I asked politely if they could add some on the top because that’s what I’d asked for when I asked the guy just stood there looking confused and then the Chinese girl came over and started arguing she’s the one who made it I guess and she did a bad job it was all mixed in and I asked for it on the top witch last time I checked didn’t imply mixing it in so when I told asked if she could had some more on the top since she had mixed it in and that’s not what I asked for she continued to argue with me so I just gave up and said never mind I don’t know why it’s that hard . I’m the one paying for it so make it how I’ve requested it’s not that difficult to add it on the TOP and not mix it in I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about that but it was like talking to a 1 year old . I will not be supporting this McDonalds again staff definitely no not aim to please or have good customer service because this was the complete opposite . And the mcFlurry tasted like garbage and didn’t even have hardly any thing in it when I’d asked and paid for extra and then for who knows what reason couldn’t simply get a bit more on top like I’d asked. And the guy said well you have to tell them that at the screen and I did I said I WANT A Score mcFlurry WITH EXTRA SCORE BITS ON TOP . What part of that is so hard to understand and if I said on top why part of that implies I want it mixed in ??? Disappointing what could and should have been so simple to fix but no the employees just like to argue with you. And this is not the first time either it’s like taking candy from a kid trying to get extra stuff here MEAN WELL IM PAYING FOR IT NOT YOU !!!! Honestly you don’t get paid enough to care that much when someone asks for extra and there paying for it just give them extra that’s why it’s an option.! 0 stars if I could . And also iv worked in customer service and in the food service for over 6 years including subway for 4 years so you can’t play that well you don’t know what it’s like crap on me . I do know and I know it’s not that difficult to give someone what they requested on THERE FOOD THAT THERE PAYING FOR !! Won’t be back here and I live in south so this is the only McDonald’s I can go to but after tonight I think I’ll stick to Harvey’s they have better food lately anyway. Disappointing McDonald’s employees do better and if you can’t at least try to have good customer service then quit and get a desk job honestly it’s not that hard to be kind and respectful and give people what they’re paying for . The experience here tonight was 100% unnecessary and disgusting if you want to be miserable go ahead but don’t make everyone else miserable over something that was so simple like adding extra score bits on the TOP .
