I know this place was voted the second best fish and chips in Canada.... ignoring the fact that clearly Ches’s fish and chips in Newfoundland was clearly not included in the running ... this place used to have really great fish and chips. They advertised their halibut as being hand cut daily. I never had to think twice about my order - halibut dinner. Sadly the last number of times I have been here the food is just not as good. The halibut seems tough and rubbery. I have found the same thing in both the fried and grilled versions. I have been wondering if they now bring the fish in frozen - especially since they now offer a frozen take home product you can bake in your oven. The service is still good however I would opt for fish at home.

Have gone to this place regularly for years and have never been disappointed! Fish and chips meal is amazing and the garlic cheese bread is definitely a must try!!
