Our first experience with poke bowl and we were hooked. We were back within a few weeks. They have a something for everyone, raw or cooked, such as salmon or fried duck. This location is great for casual fast dining, featuring some in door and outdoor seating, open concept prep area with tons of fresh ingredients, and a sizable menu to find your perfect poke box. Their "poke people" sign is also a great spoke for the perfect poke shot.

I have been to 3 different locations and Markham is by far my favourite. I always have such a nice experience coming to this location. The ingredients taste fresh and the service is friendly and fast! Ordered two of the lava blaze, would recommend if you are a fan of spicy food.

Love this poke spot! Great variety of toppings, generous portions and the fish is super fresh! Great for a picnic lunch. I recommend getting the poke box, it has salmon and tuna with a shoyu and roasted sesame dressing.

my go-to place for poke bowls! blows the rest of the poke bowl restaurants in my area markham out of the water.  great value boxes aren't too expensive and taste is always very consistent. staff are also quite friendly and accommodating!

Overall the food was great if you had the right amount of sauce and finish touches. The toasted coconut finish was flavourful at first but could be overly sweet if it stays on the rice too long. So far I’ve had the beef and salmon which are always fresh and delicious. I would like to try the chicken Kara age whenever it’s available again. Hmm on a side note, their plastic cover can also be used as a palette if you are into painting! Lol  posting an old pic as I forgot to take a new one today

I think this place is relatively cheaper then hoke poke, however I think the sauce is a bit strong and perhaps too much of it? I like the hoke poke sauce better as it's smoother and not as tangy or sweet. This is a good place for vegetarians!

This is a cool place. They gave us a generous portion.I got the lava blaze while my daughter got a build your own bowl. It was our first time trying this place and the menu was a little complicated but when we went to the counter to order, the guy helping us gave us a warm welcome and a throughout explanation of the menu which helped a lot. The salmon was very delightfully tasty and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. My daughter’s bowl had a sushi rice base and some salmon, masago,cabbage, carrots and the classic shoyu sauce and she loved it and would like to return again sometime. The lava bowl’s spice was just right. If you like sriracha this is a good poke bowl to try. This restaurant is situated at the corner of the plaza with two tables and a set of barstools by the window, good for takeouts and quick lunches. One thing that they could improve on would be to simplify the menu so that we can easily understand the pricing. Overall good place, would come back sometime for a quick lunch

Love their poke bowls! The bowls are always so fresh, delicious and filling! My favourite bowls are the Poke Box signature and the Big Umami! The staff is super nice too! Can't wait to try their other poke bowls soon!

I still remember the very first time I tried their poke box at their downtown location and being amazed at how fresh it tasted  My go-to order is the Poke Box - Salmon, Ahi Tuna, red peppers, cucumber, red onion, seaweed salad, masago, crab salad, house shoyu, roasted sesame, furikake, crispy onion, togarashi, green onion  So fresh, great portions, great value!

It was my first time at The Poke Box, and it was a great experience with their poke. I came in for lunch with a friend.  I had the Ruffled Up poke signature, it came with a lot of ingredients; cabbage, smoked duck, mandarin, shrimp tempura, cucumber, sweet onion, tamago egg, crispy fried onion bits, furikake topping, and tamari glaze sauce. I also chose to have it with sushi rice, as the base.  I thought it was really good, it was sweet and savory. The tempura and crispy onion bits add some crunch texture to every bite, while the tamago, sweet onion, and tamari glaze sauce add some sweetness. It was a great poke!
