Super cute little cafe. It has frozen section Korean foods , ice cream, coke vending machine. Good enough space for people to study or hang out. They are playing pleasant much. Right inside the Fairview res area in UBC. It’s also close by none UBC student area so you see mix of crowed. Prices are reasonable and they were fast in preparing your order.
Delicious foods and great service How cute drinks. It has so lovely taste. The staffs were so kindly and nice. I really recommend London fog
Yes you can get caffeinated from mediocre coffee, have somewhere quiet to sit down and study but that’s where it ends. Food comes out of a cardboard box and gets thrown in an air fryer or microwave. No difference if you were to do it in your dorm, oh did I forget? The food is lukewarm when it comes out. Save your money and try another place around here.
Awesomely surprised at how super dope this little coffee joint is! We stopped by for a couple of thanksgiving Soy Cappucinos after only having to veer off a couple of minutes from the Salish trail. A perfect retreat to stay cozy with a warm drink whilst watching the beautiful fall colors outside. An honest, laid back and cozy vibe inside and great area to study with a yummy selection of drinks and baked snacks and clearly shows as the local go-to on campus for students and families in the area. The coffee actually tasted great, a cappucino whipped to perfection in which they also use the good brand plant-based milks Silk and Earths Own. They also have cute outdoor patio furniture and a large outdoor area to chill. Support local businesses!
Easy to miss this place since it's hidden in Fairview Crescent at UBC, a bit separated from the main campus, but worth the visit. It seems to be a family-run shop, and they offer an eclectic assortment of food and drink: the standard coffee shop fare of sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee/tea, plus milkshakes, smoothies, tteok bokki, and some interesting desserts to round it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of everything I ordered! I got the Pesto Melt Bagel, Tiramisu, and an Apple Cider. The bagel was grilled lightly which gave it a little crispness and warmth without loosing the fresh texture, the tomatoes were fresh, and it wasn't too oily. The tiramisu was nice and a little bit different from the usual since it was more like a trifle or parfait than a cake slice. I liked the custardy mascarpone layers and the syrupy espresso sauce at the bottom. Finally, the apple cider was really good. It came with a piece of dried apple and lemon slice and had a spicy flavour, and was sweetened tastefully. The prices are pretty fair cheaper than other UBC coffee shops. The shop itself is really cozy - it feels like walking into a home - they have lots of couches in addition to regular tables and chairs, and there's also seating upstairs which I didn't check out. The staff also seem to be very nice. I do think it would be nice if they had more vegetarian sandwiches, but otherwise I'm really happy to have finally tried this place, and definitely will be back again.
So surprised that they offered tteokbokki at this coffee shop but I tried it on a whim and it’s fantastic. The sauce is flavorful spicy, not just spicy to hurt you. It’s ~$20, but the portion is massive, I remember carrying it home and thinking this is heavy. There are lots of fixings inside like boiled egg, different fish cakes, cheese, etc. I had it for 2 meals. I haven’t tried anything else here, but now this is my best kept secret.
Super cute cozy cafe! My fave cafe to study at. It's tucked away in a residential area so it's nice and quiet. 10 out of 10 recommend!
Very cute place. Comfortable atmosphereRecommended dishes
Great food, great service. It always feels like you went to grandma's house for lunch when u are there.its quiet, so you can work or study there. And it doesnt hurt to have a beautiful surrounding area for the coffee shop. One minor flaw is the parking, which is a bit of a walk from the place. But overall, really recommended to go!
The Rose Tteokbokki was really good, and the portion was really big for 2 people. The tteokbokki was soft and chewy, and the fish cakes were delicious. However, the cold London Fog Latte was really watered down.Food: 4/5
