The Boulevard Coffee Roasting

Convenient location for a great study spot! The salted caramel macchiato is by far my favourite drink here! The staff are always kind as well! Additionally LOVE their chocolate chip cookies, taste high quality and are warm and soft when you eat them!

Despite having not visited here for more than three years until my most recent visit, I still remember their unique memorable coffee taste in their latte. I am glad on my most recent visits that their lattes still taste exactly as I remember them. The fact that I remembered the unique taste after so long is a testament to their excellent coffee roast that has made a lasting impression on me as I definitely cannot recall so clearly the taste of coffee served in the majority of cafes I have visited either on a regular or a one-off basis. Their coffee roast has a taste that is finely balanced/paired with the steamed milk that gives a really rich and smooth taste to their latte. In my opinion, there is something about the latte that achieves a perfect balance between providing that authentic fresh coffee taste with the milk that makes it really delicious - it’s a balance that many other cafes do not achieve as well based on my personal preferences. The ice latte I had most recently was well worth the 45 min bike ride from downtown, and unlike other cafes, the ice latte still had a strong coffee taste to it and did not taste diluted from the ice inside it.

UBC coffee shop I visited a few weeks ago to study for my midterm. I like the atmosphere and the music there. The environment is really warm and cozy. It’s also a pretty good studying spot. What did I try? Drip coffee Vegan blueberry lavender loaf Mmm their coffee is nicely roasted!! I love it! The lavender loaf had a nice fruit and lavender balance. Not very sweet and very moist. I would def get it again!!!

This is my favourite go-to coffee shop in the University area. The food is great, particularly the salads and sandwiches, and the Aztec Gold Hot Chocolate should be winning awards! Try with EspressoFood: 5/5

Best Coffee on campus and outside campus as well. A cozy and clean space perfect for studying, reading or just to hang out and forget about school for a bit. I usually use Ubc's wifi which works perfectly fine. They roast their coffee inside of the shop which leaves an after smell that is absolutely fantastic. Last but not least, the people who work there are super friendly and thoughtful. I get my everyday coffee from there not only because of the rich balanced flavors but also because of the amazing customer service. HIGHLY recommended.

Having tried other cafés at UBC i think that there are better options than this. My cappuccino was quite bitter, and the prices were more premium than the coffee or experience. You wont have a bad time, but for the price, you can get something better.Food: 3/5

Great matcha latte in general - not too sweet, matcha is super smooth no clumps definitely best matcha latte on campus + staff are always very friendly and accommodating!

Love buying my beans here. Great varieties of origins and flavours and buying a bag comes with a free drip coffee. Great atmosphere for studying too. Clean bathrooms. Their espresso drinks are not bad, nothing remarkable.Food: 4/5

It seems like a really nice place to study with a calm atmosphere and wall outlets. I had a Nutella pastry and hot chocolate and they were both so good! According to the website, the coffee shop was opened by a UBC alumni and their coffee is fair-trade, so that’s a plus. Food is also 50% off after 5 PM - there’s not too much left by this point, but it’s still good to know :

The place looks better in photos than in person, the girl who served me was as unfriendly as possible. It is a place where you can go to work or study because it is not very crowded. the bathroom needs urgent remodeling! There is nowhere to put the toilet paper so they leave you a stack of rolls for you to use and open them if any roll runs out. one of the doors doesn't close and the door almost fell off, the men's room is just as dirty, and the coffee isn't the best either. I honestly don't think I would come back.
