Loafe Cafe Sauder

The food menu here is small but everything is really good, from the brunch sandwiches to the pastries. Lots of gf and vegan pastries. My favourite thing here is actually the desserts, in particular the rich and fudgy and huge - kind of too huge but it would be great if you wanted to split brownies. They have consistently good espresso drinks and London fogs too. I find the matcha latte a little weak. Dairy, oat and soy milk but no almond milk. Not much atmosphere as it's located right in the Sauder building - it's usually frenzied and filled with people studying. It's hard to get a seat inside unless it's early in the morning, but the patio usually has more space and is way calmer. The baristas are very nice and patient even when it's busy at lunch hour, the only problem I have is that, fairly often, I'll try to be very clear about ordering everything for here and they'll give me one item in a to-go container which really bothers me as I try to order in to avoid waste.

Love this place, go there everyday basically. Try their brownies and spinach-feta croissants for breakfast and ask to warm them up, it's even better. The Bacon & Brie is a MUST.

Such a great cafe! My barista "Mia" elevated my experience here today. Not only was her service IMPECCABLE but it was the best London fog I've ever drank in my life.

I went in and ordered a piece of breakfast and a cup of 12oz London fog, a lady processed my order but forgot to give me the bread, so I waited for minutes and showed my receipt to another lady, she told me that’s for the main Loafe near bookstore. But that didn’t make sense since I payed in this one, I even asked twice. I only got my London fog here so eventually I still went to the other loafe and explained everything, they also didn’t experience this before but they still gave me the bread. I go to this one for brunch as long as I am in campus but this one really got me bad.
