Stir It Up Café

Standard selection for UBC cafés. They have some pre-made sandwiches and wraps which can be heated, salads, and baked goods, and usually some sort of soup. Also a full coffee bar. The food is mostly decent as far as grab-and-go stuff goes, sometimes the wraps are kind of soggy. The coffee is the same price as you’ll pay at any of the independent shops on campus but not quite as good, but definitely acceptable. The staff is usually nice. Basically impossible to find a seat inside around lunch time since people in the Buchanan just treat the café area like any other study spot and camp there.

pretty decent, nothing too exciting. one worker keeps berating her coworkers over things she doesn’t want to do, sad to see as she gets mad at them for no reason.

The food is overpriced just like any establishment in UBC, the quality doesn't justify the cost, small portions, nothing too special about it since you can find the same baked good in literally every cafe run by UBC. I have been served cold food there. I've been served cold food from there and that's the lease of my complaints regarding the place. The problems are not unique to this cafe, its a standard set across every UBC establishment.

Food is good, but they reuse the same milk and re steam it for lattes. The London fog was undrinkable. Milk can only sit for 40 seconds before it should be dumped, and it should never be resteamed.

Good paninis at this place, I always ask for extra toasted cause it makes it really nice and crunchy. Ok price too so good place to get a quick bite before your next class.

More expensive than Starbucks :/ lemon loaf tastes like a lot of vegetable shortening went into it. 8$ for a sandwich is too much...

Staff don't listen and I got a soda there today that turned out to be a year past its best before date.

Very expensive food and coffee and the quality isn't even high enough to justify the cost...

Because they'll give you free hot water if you ask politely.

Even though you go there during busy time you will be able to find seats here
