The North Face Outlet

Keep in mind this is an OUTLET, so selling out-of-season/years-past merchandise is expected, BUT it should not be priced at current MSRP. Saw items I own that I purchased retail in 2015-16 yet this OUTLET store has them tagged at 2018 MSRP (when in 2015-16 the MSRP was less than 2018). Also, as an outlet the MSRP should not be the launching point from which discounts are applied. From virtue of being outdated merchandise, the starting point should be less than MSRP, and THEN discounts should be applied. NB. the TNF outlets in USA don't do this shady practice, only seen this in Canada (as if paying 13% tax on clothes wasn't already enough of a penalty for shopping in Canada).

DONT GO HERE. I bought a product and I had to return it however I forgot the receipt and they wouldn’t do it. I went on their website and I pulled out information that clearly states that I could receive an exchange at the lowest selling price and on the receipt it states that a product accompanied with no receipt will not revive a FULL refudn but can receive a refund. Now the product that I had bought was at a significantly higher price than what it was on for today and despite me pulling out policies written on the website and receipt they failed to accommodate me. They had no idea about the policy and no idea how to deal with my situation and the manager was standing right behind the cashier. Now even if I wanted to return the product I would have to go 45 mins out of my way because Outlet products can’t be returned at regular store(which makes ZERO sense because I’m RETURNING the item at the same brand location and not asking for an exchange). At the end of the day, I would NOT recommend anyone going here. They need to start training their employees on store policies because all these kids working here only know how to make jokes and ignore the customer. Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service.

One of my favourite spots. Great selection and knowledgable staff. Always make a stop here before I do any backpacking adventures to stock up. Highly recommended.

Great service, very attentive. Bought my father an end of the season Parka at this outlet.
