A very nice hotel located right downtown. The room was fantastic, a great size, with a modern bathroom and big comfy bed. The staff is great and I loved the beers available at the bar downstairs. Attached to a mall with lots of great stores and restaurants.

We were members and got upgraded, the room and amenities were great. The Continental breakfast was the best I've had. The location is great for downtown or jumping on the rail line to get to the airport or Mall of America

Newly remodeled. Superior customer service. Executive floor number 19 has great amenities in the executive Lounge. Great views from floor 19. Rooms have dark color scheme. Very clean and comfortable furniture. Lobby is very fancy. Connected the Skyway and center of downtown Minneapolis.

Terrible management. Stayed here for a concert, was told check in was 3pm, arrived shortly after 4. Upon arrival we saw a long, long line to check in, it took over an hour to get close to the counter, due to the fact there were three employees doing check in. After over an hour, not to the counter yet, we were informed they had no clean rooms left, even though they were aware two days earlier they were sold out on this particular night. An employee ended up taking our bags and we ended up going straight to venue, without ever seeing our room, or being 100% certain they would honor our five month old reservation (they lost our reservation, even though I had a screenshot of confirmation number, they denied having it) spent 2 hours on the phone two days prior, to make sure we had a room, that is when they told me they were booked. Every employee I spoke with (3), blamed incompetent management and poor scheduling decisions. I eventually asked the manager if they knew what the purpose of a hotel was, she said yes, but I'm not so sure she does. Overall, for the price they charge, I expect a higher level of competency. Honestly, I'd be pissed if this happened at Motel 6. Should I find myself in Minneapolis again, I wouldn't give them my money again, I don't want to reward awful service.

I stayed at The Marquette for a business trip. The hotel was conveniently located downtown with close access to the train which can take you to and from the airport. Hotel lobby and rooms are decorated stylishly with modern touches. I didn't have too much interaction with the hotel staff, solely because I used online check-in and the digital key through the Hilton Honors App. The hotel also has access to the skywalk and is close to a Starbucks and other breakfast options, which was ideal for a business trip. My deluxe king room was clean and spacious with a view of downtown. I was on the 15th Floor, and did not have any noise issues. Another co-worker that stayed at the same hotel did say they had issues sleeping from the street noise, but I am used to street noise since I live in an urban city. Note: the hotel does offer ear plugs complementary if you do have issues with the city noise. My overall trip and stay at the Marquette was great and I would definitely pick this hotel for my next trip to Minneapolis.
