We LOVE this hotel! We stay here every time we come to Minneapolis for an event. Milk and cookies every night at 10PM is a great added bonus, plus they offer free shuttle service to the Target Center for events. Well within walking distance of several restaurants and other things to do in downtown. Beautiful place! Well worth the money spent!

Good location relative to the Minny convention center. Rooms spacious and clean. Good bed, mostly quiet. Only complaint: I paid for 'bed & breakfast' deal. It comes with restrictions. Only good for American-style breakfasts (bacon & eggs). Not able to order oatmeal! WTF?

GREATEST!!!! Don't miss this gem in downtown MNPLS. It's like a northern European hotel but with more light. Food at kitchen was outstanding! Cocktails were outstanding - - try the gin gimlet with the cherry bark and vanilla bitters! It may have been the best cocktail I have ever had and I'm old. The veal/beef/pork meatloaf dinner and the wild mushroom risotto were 7 star out of 5. Thanks for the say, Normandy Inn and Kitchen!

The staff are so thoughtful & have gone above our expectations! Easy to find the place, & park near the entrance to check in. The hotel owns their parking garage which is a bonus while staying downtown. The hotel is decorated beautifully & our room was spotless & I mean spotless! I could not find even dust. And I'm a tough critic of cleanliness considering I worked in housekeeping myself!

The Good: This was my first stay in a Best Western in over 20 years, and my expectations were quite low based on those previous experiences. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. The hotel was actually very nice inside. The bed was incredibly comfortable and gave the major superchains a serious run for their money. I fell right to sleep every night because the room was so comfortable--completely dark, not overly loud AC unit, and as mentioned, a very comfortable bed. The restaurant in the hotel, the Normandy, was one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever eaten at, but I'll save that review for later. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting the nearby hospital or arena, both within easy walking distance. The Bad: The toilet seat and cover had a lot of damage that was covered up with putty, and just didn't look very professional. The bathroom itself was so tight that I had to maneuver around the door just to sit on the toilet or to get into the shower. The Ugly: There wasn't anything that would prevent me from staying here again.
