Not sure why getting so many negative reviews. Stayed in October 2017 for 2 nights:
+ Wifi was really good. Had multiple networks so can always get strong signal.
+ Clean
+ Nice big safe parking lot just off the highway - though can be a BIT tricky to find.
+ King bed was surprisingly comfortable. Stayed 2 nights and slept great and room was quiet enough.
- Rooms need some updating and overall hotel needs some maintenance (wallpaper was old, peeling a bit, just ugly/out of date design)
+ Good value for the price.
+ Staff was friendly / helpful.
+ Pretty good breakfast in the morning but it ended earlier than I like (ended at 9:30AM so almost missed it one day).

Total dive. Unclean, disheveled window treatments and bedding. Peeling ceiling. One blanket, one top sheet. Totally worn carpets. But Andy at the front desk was great!

Dirtiest hotel I have ever seen in my life! First room had bed bugs, second room had a huge urine stain on mattress, didn't give them a third try. Couldn't run out quick enough. Glad this property is getting new ownership shortly. Absolutely filthy location!

We stayed 1 night here on August 16,2017. It was the filthiest place I have ever stayed. It also smelled like smoke in the second floor- even though it's a non-smoking property. I was made to sign a form agreeing I wouldn't smoke( I don't smoke anyway) and when I told the front desk about the smoke smell, the woman claimed she went up there and couldn't smell anything. All the carpets in halls and stairs had huge dirt stains on them, and there were spiders and webs and bugs in all the stair wells. Two of the three outside doors that you were supposed to use a key card for opened without one. The coffee maker didn't have a pot. We reserved a 2queen bed room through a third party, and got 1 bed. While I was trying to talk to the booking people who made the mistake, the front desk staff was listening and didn't bother to tell me ahead of time they didn't even have a 2 bed available(could have saved me some time). Would NEVER stay there again. Also it cost $20 more than a much nicer Baymont Inn I'm staying in right now!

As with many lower end hotels, our recent stay was a mixed bag of good and bad.
The Good:
Smooth check in.
Mostly clean, and they are obviously trying to update the rooms in this aging facility.
Large, mostly warm pool.
Good breakfast options, even for celiac.
Rooms all have microwave/fridge.
The mattress was comfortable in both rooms.
On site laundry facility available.
The Bad:
AC failed in first room. Manager who came to look at the AC claimed it was working fine because it was blowing air at all.
Had to move rooms after the first night. AC problems in second room as well.
Cable barely worked - only a few channels weren't just static, and those that weren't, were fuzzy.
Eggs only served on Saturday breakfast. Most hotels serve expanded options on Sunday as well.
Inadequate bedding. Two sheets and the thinnest "comforter" imaginable sandwiched between the sheets. 3 thin pillows for a King bed.
A guest came up to me during breakfast on our third morning asking to use the phone because the front desk wouldn't let him call out. No idea what that was about. If the front desk refused to allow a local phone call, that is terrible customer service.
Room keys would randomly stop working.
Room service did not come to room even with "do not disturb" sign taken down. Left the trash and towels outside the door. No one brought fresh towels, and we asked for more at the front desk later that night. We were given two bath towels only.
Exorbitant prices for laundry and vending.
The bathroom wall above the toilet in the second room is unfinished. Bathroom mirror has duct tape around it for a "frame".
WI-FI frequently disconnected.
All in all, I'm so disappointed in the service and stay here, and the issues we experienced. We usually stay at a different hotel when we come to Minneapolis, but opted to try here for this trip to save a hundred bucks or so. The hassle and cheap feel of the room was nowhere near worth the monetary savings. I've been told that the reason for all the issues is that "management is being changed over this weekend", but that certainly doesn't account for technical issues, broken equipment, or unfinished rooms.
