We used the custom blinds service at Home Depot in Vaudreuil and we are beyond satisfied with the service!! One of their sales reps, Celine, came to our house to show us options, which was a free consultation. We really liked her suggestions and really appreciated the service. Then Mario, the technician, came over to measure our windows. He then came over once they arrived, which took about 4-5 weeks and he did an incredible job with the installation. He was friendly and very efficient.nWe highly recommend using Home Depot for custom blinds!!nWe ended up going with the zebra panels for the blinds and find them so beautiful and homey. They are slightly more expensive but we are very happy with the final look.
I bought a washing machine on august 28th at Vaudreuil location and I just wanted to say that the salesman John Hranek was so kind and patient with me. He took the time to explain many things about the different types of machines. He was very professional, I was surprised to hear he has been an employee for 19 years, no doubt he is the very best. Very satisfied with the service and machine. I wanted to fill out the survey to give him a review and a chance to win a prize but sadly my number on my receipt expired as I exceeded the 2 weeks. So for anyone reading this, fill out the survey quickly, can be worth it.
I've been shopping at this store since 2008, and it has gone from 5 stars to 2.5. The staff is generally great shoutout to Serge from Hardware and the plumbing team, but management has changed its philosophy. It is never about making the customer happy; it is about margins. If you are trying to save a dollar, skip this location. 13 to the dozen is gone, and price matching has become so complicated that you are better off just shopping elsewhere. Beware of online ordering; if you have an issue, you are surely out of luck SOL as they have no interest in helping in-store. I ordered a 1k delivery less than two weeks ago and you screwed up the order, call me. Dropping it to a 1 star review, as I asked HD to call me to discuss this. Instead I get the same automated response as any other comment as you can see below.
Richard in plumbing and his coworker didn't get his name are the best! I had a big puzzle on my hand with changing my plumbing under my sink and they figurd out a way to make it work. Showed me exactly how to assemble the pieces correctly and it was super easy to do it myself when I got home. THANK YOU!
From start to finish, this has been a nightmare, and to this day I am left without my product, without clear answers, and with my rights violated.nnFirst, I received a delivery call only 15 minutes before arrival, which is completely unreasonable. Shortly after, the delivery driver called again to tell me he had entered my garage and left the box inside. I have no idea how he accessed my garage, and I want to be very clear: I did not authorize anyone to enter my garage at any time. The driver did not ask permission, did not receive consent, and still went onto private property and inside my garage.nnWhen I told him to leave immediately and not to leave anything in the garage as I needed the space to park my car when I got home, he then told me he had taken the box out and left it outside near the garbage bins. This was later confirmed by your investigation team.nnHowever, when I returned home, there was nothing there. Because the item is heavy and expensive, I initially assumed the driver may have decided to return another day. The next day I called to ask when my order would arrive, only to discover that Home Depot considered the delivery completed. I was transferred to the store, where an advisor told me a manager would call me back within one hour. No one called.nnOver the following days, I had to place approximately three additional calls, only to learn that my case was not even properly recorded, and nobody intended to follow up.nnEventually, a manager contacted me and stated they had “confirmation” from the driver that the box was delivered, along with a photo showing the box inside my garage. I was completely shocked and outraged. Not only did I never authorize entry into my garage, but I also never authorized anyone to take photographs inside my private property. Furthermore, after I explicitly told the driver to get out of my garage and not leave anything there, he confirmed to me that he removed the box and left it outside—so the photo makes no sense and only raises more serious concerns.nnI was told my file had been forwarded to the investigation team. A few days later, I received a letter repeating the same information: the driver claims delivery was completed and provided a photo inside my garage.nnTo this day, I have still received no answers to the most basic and serious questions:nnWhy was the item not rescheduled if no one was home, considering it is heavy and expensive?nnWhy was I only notified 15 minutes before delivery?nnHow did the driver enter my garage, and who granted access?nnWho authorized the driver to take photos inside my private property?nnWhere is my order?nnWhat is the concrete solution and timeline to resolve this?nnDespite numerous attempts to communicate with Home Depot, I keep being redirected to the store, even though the purchase was made online. The store often does not answer the phone, and when I do reach someone, I am told they cannot help and that another team is handling it. That team either does not respond or simply repeats that the order was delivered—without addressing any of my questions or providing any resolution.nnAt this point, I am left without my product, without my money, and with my privacy and property rights violated. This has been an unacceptable and disturbing experience. I will never use your services again, and I will strongly advise others to avoid them as well.nnIf this matter is not resolved immediately with a clear remedy replacement delivery under proper conditions or a full refund, I will proceed with an official complaint to the consumer protection office and will also file a report with the police regarding unauthorized entry onto private property and the disappearance of my purchase.
