The Happy Hound Play Park Dog Daycare & Boarding

Love the place but sad they won’t be offering the social/breed meetups anymore. That is our favourite time to come because we can watch my dog play with others. We don’t use daycare or boarding.

My dog, Hazel, has had high anxiety and difficulties adjusting to new environments since I brought her home 3 years ago. She's had bad experiences with new people from her breeders she was malnourished and not taken care of before I got her, trainers before, etc and has been sick with anxiety after leaving places because they've never made her feel comfortable and I was never comfortable sending her to a daycare but when I found the Happy Hound and from the moment she went for her assessment and her first day of CLASS daycare, I knew she was in good hands.nnThe trainers have always been so informative and kind, when Hazel has had a really bad/high anxiety day they've let me know and worked with me to help Hazel be more comfortable. And Hazels always looked so happy in her daycare photos and come home happy, tired, and was never sick after leaving.nnI can't thank the Happy Hound and the trainers enough for taking such good care of her and I tell everyone to bring their dogs here because I know their fur babies will be so well taken care of and happy when they come!

We recently took our dog Stewie for a meet & greet at the happy hound and our experience was phenomenal. The team member facilitating us was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, we were very impressed. We came from a different daycare that provided barely any information to us and essentially just threw our dog into the room with all the others. When we left we couldn’t stop talking about how great the happy hound is compared to our last daycare. Highly recommend!

When my pug Frankie first joined HH she was super anxious and socially stressed with bad separation anxiety. I registered her for the CLASS program to help with that. With just what seemed like mere weeks of being at Happy Hound CLASS , Frankie was thriving and living her best life . She eventually moved to social play where she tends to be the “socially butterfly “- and that is all thanks to the compassionate and loving staff at Happy Hound ! They take such great care of your fur babies and treat them with such love! It makes a momma feel at ease to know while I am at a long day of work, my fur baby is getting exercise , social play and love . Frankie started out scared at the door and now cries with excitement when we pull into the parking lot. She will run past the gate to greet and love on the staff with a fast and happy wagging tail, leaving momma behind ! That is when you know they are doing a FANTASTIC job !! Their activities, report cards and pictures are truly heart warming for dog parents. It’s the special touches they do that make them stand out .n10/10 would recommend !!

They take such great of our puppy!! The girls are always so excited to see our pup and I love that you get a report card and pictures of their stay so it helps ease your mind on how they’re doing. We also come here for classes and Kade has been helpful in addressing specific questions we have in addition to regular training. We had an issue one time regarding communication during one of our earlier stays but the manager, Jenn, was quick to address my concerns and there has been zero issues since! I wish there is a grass outdoor area but my dog comes home tired every stay so I know for sure he’s having the best time!!
