The Green Well Gastro Pub

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids. My wife and I had our first date here. They have a great variety of food options and they are constantly coming up with new things. The brisket sandwich is incredible! Though I liked it more when they had it on a pretzel bun.

Stopped by here the last time we visited Grand Rapids. We were seated quickly and the service was great. Good beer selection with a lot of local options. Got the truffle fries and brisket sandwich - both were excellent. Would definitely eat here again.

Atmosphere was nice because we could hold a conversation without yelling. The food and service was amazing. However, my wife’s water glass had crud on it and both our forks were also dirty with crusted food on them.

Where to start... with the Banana Foster. Start with desert and finish with dinner because Green Well knows where the fit in this world and it’s in your belly. This restaurant group knows how to run a successful place and it truly does start with their staff. Green Well or Grove (same ownership and across the street) you can’t go wrong. Call if you’re going on a weekend.

$$ A wonderful experience. The food was delightful and fun. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service fantastic. Happy to go again and recommend to friends.
