We stopped here yesterday for a quick pint while we waited for our Thai takeout from place around the corner. Bartender was courteous and allowed us to sample the beers on tap. They had a decent selection of MI brews. I had a Founders Azacca IPA and my friends had the Cup a Joe coffee stouts. Place was cozy on a cold winter eve. Enjoy!

One of the old owners was a member of my Masonic Lodge. He clear the place out after meetings so that the Brothers could make use of the bar. There's still a room dedicated to our connection (The Grand River Room). We like to go back, it's a nice place with good service. I love the historic feeling of it.

Best food in Grand Rapids. Feels like an old school basement bar without being in the basement. Limited outdoor seating available. Large variety of beers on tap too!

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Extensive menu, but very few vegetarian options. Good selection of craft beers on tap.

We really enjoy this place. And if you grab the Groupon, what a great deal!! Best burgers in GR.
