Originally called Ilhas de Bruma, this Portuguese restaurant was recommended to me by friends. I decided to try it out with my family. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, with a classy touch on every corner. The menu options are what you’d expect, some classics of a steakhouse and traditional Portuguese plates. The service was very friendly! The staff treated us extremely well. The food was quite good! My personal favourite was the cheese tagliatelle, which to this day is a dish I’d go back for. The cod fish served was a little burned at the bottom, but was delicious and the vegetables complemented the dish well. The classic steak was ok, but the steak with an egg on top was delicious! It’s a bit pricey, but depending on what you order, it’s worthwhile! On a special occasion, giving this place a try is definitely worth it.
Came here for the seafood buffet available Fridays & Saturdays, it was phenomenal. All you can eat seafood. All you can eat shrimp, mussels, calamari, crab, octopus AND lobster. As well as other sides and dishes. What more can you ask for from a seafood buffet. The experience was more worthwhile with our server, Helder.Food: 5/5
Overall experience was good and the live band is a nice touch. The ayce seafood buffet wasn’t what we expected because most of the seafood, including the lobster and crab legs were cold! For $65 a person you would think the food will be warm but it’s not and we were among the first ones there!
If you’re looking for an all you can eat seafood and steak buffet this is the place for you. Buffay is $68 a person and it’s all you can eat. The place is super clean the staff super friendly. It is a Portuguese restaurant buffet but the staff to speak English. 10 out of 10.
It was a very surprised moment brought to me by a friend. Good service, food and drinks was pricy but probably worth it, especially the side dishes, very special taste.
WOW is all I can say, rhis was our first time here. Everything was so delicious and our server was a delightful young man who was always checking on us. I picked up some gift certificates, which I'm pretty sure the ones I'm giving them to will enjoy it just as much as we did. Parking: There was lots of parking in the back and front of the restaurant
Excellent Portuguese food with good service. Went there for a wedding and it was a feast. Delicious flavours and well seasoned dishes.Food: 5/5
Went to the Friday seafood buffet, the lobster and crab were served cold and there was a mixture of other hot and cold seafood. It was okay.
We’ve been to a lot of buffet restaurants from middle class to a high end but tonight is the first time that it was indeed a buffet but not even one dessert or at least fruits being served. You have to pay for your desserts. Paying $65/head is not really worthy. They don’t have a lot of food options. No labels on their food so if you are not Portuguese, you might not familiar with most of what they were serving. The waitresses don’t even remember to pour water on your glass as they were nowhere to be found. The squid was very tough to chew. The salmon was too salty and so with paella yellow rice with seafoods. Their salad aren’t appetizing. They have tasty lobsters and crab legs but the crab legs were so skinny. I love their bread but it does not justify the price of their buffet. I gave 2 stars for the few stuff I like but will not be recommending this to others and definitely not worth going back.
It's gonna be a huge no for me. Came here to have lunch with my mother, and we didn't realize they had a buffet option, which is a win win at any restaurant...except this one. We went to make a plate but not only does the food look unappealing, it was cold and honestly, it was disgusting. The soup was flavourless and cold. The majority of the dishes were all pork and floating in what looked like brine, the one beef dish was dry and absolutely flavorless, where was the seasoning? Don't even get me started on the bland potatoes, rice and beans. At the end of it we ended up paying $80 for bland, flavorless excuses for food. My stomach hurt after eating a plate. Would not recommend.
