I really am not happy to give 3 star to this place but with their very expensive prices, I expected better quality and customer services. Definitely the interior and building is a unique one, very beautiful and eye catching, it’s like you are in an old Royal European mansion with fantastic windows, plates on the walls and chairs. The quality of food was not as good as their expensive prices, although every food portion were very big at their size, even their cakes as deserts. Definitely when you pay $35-$40 for a drink or appetizer and more than $100 for a steak, you expect one of the most delicious drink and food you ever tried. Also the people who serves you, are one of those non-communicative ones, no smile or effort to explain about their menus or trying to make you more comfortable except the lady who was at coat check. I believe as they have their own fixed business customers, they don’t even think to make other customers happy
This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! Located on the busy street of Dundas in Mississauga, you can easily find it passing by as it looks like a real castle with real burning torches on the pillar walls. Inside it's like stepping back in time to another place, with beautiful high ceiling and wood working designs of an old European lodge, it's like a scene from Harry Potter's Hogwarts castle! The staff is very friendly and very professional. They have a fantastic wine selection. As for the main attraction of this established estate, it's the food that is the most wonderful part of the experience. I've been looking high and low for a good Chateaubriand and this place has it, it's the best! It's my favorite dish! Great experience and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. You definitely feel and treated like royalty!
We went there for date night. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. We were seated at a nicely located table, suitable for our occasion. The service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was plentiful and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. After dinner we walked over to the bar area for coffee and dessert. We listened to beautiful live music at the piano bar. The lady singing had an amazing voice. I would always go back.
Came here a few times before but most recently came for a little work dinner and it was phenomenal. The calamari was cooked sooooo perfectly and the table side Caesar salad was amazing. We all ordered either the bone in rib steak or the king crab and it was to die for. We will definitely be back - also the venue is absolutely beautiful
The appetizers could have been entrees. We walked out of here fully stuffed, no room for dessert. It is on the expensive side but you do get more than enough food. The fries were a bit dry. Service was great. Lol, waiter was shocked that my husband was able to finish the Chateaubriand for Two all on his own.
Great ambiance with attentive service. Such a unique place, love all the decors and stained glass windows. Got the T Bone steak in perfect medium rare - very tender. The appetizers were just alright.
I'm here for my birthday. It's a very happy experience. It's my favorite environment. It's very artistic. I ordered a bottle of delicious red wine, and the steak was medium rare! Caesar, Tiramisu dessert, and American coffee!
It was our 1st time eating at this fine vintage restaurant for Mother’s Day. Everything was superb from ambience, great flavourful food and friendly hostesses. I highly recommend this place to honour any special occasion. The dessert was also amazing especially the carrot cake.
The food, the service, the atmosphere, all top notch. This place has become a christmas time staple in my friend group. I personally have tried several things from their menu so far and have been so pleased and impressed with the portion size, the flavor, the presentation. It's expensive but it's worth every penny. See you guys next December!
I had heard of this place before but never got an opportunity to dine until my company hosted the year-end Dinner Party & it was just majestic. The ambiance was spectacular, the food Lobster bisque & Salmon was delicious, drinks tasted well, especially the Espresso Martini. Also, this place lives up to its name - it does look like a Castle from medieval times. Must visit!!!
