I visited this place back to back recently. Had the half chicken combo and their tarts. The 4.7 raring on Google is legit. The chicken is flavourful and crispy in the right places. The hot sauce is tasty and goes well with the chicken. The tarts are home made, though limited, so get em when u can. The men at the counter are welcoming and warm. Top place to get Portuguese chicken!
I decided to do takeout and visited this place for the first time. The person at the register was super friendly and helped explain the different types of foods they offer. I ended up getting the 1/2 chicken dinner and it was extremely filling. Great plate to share for two and enough for two meals for one person! The serving sizes are extremely generous and everything was cooked perfectly! It is not oily at all which I tend to find in most similar offered items around the GTA, the seasoning was perfect and not too salty! I highly recommend this place for a quick stop for lunch or dinner and I will be coming back.
The chicken and their hot sauce was really good. The rice and potatoes were decent but the vegetables were definitely over cooked. They were kinda mushy. But the owner was an extremely friendly and sociable guy. Definitely will come back here in the future.
Chicken was great. Hotsauce though was a pleasant surprise, usually I'll just eat a bit but I couldn't stop it was so good. But the tart was fantastic, blown away good. And sub $20 for what is going to be 2 meals worth of food.Food: 5/5
Nicely spiced. Good sauce but the chicken very overcooked and dry. $20 for 1 small tough chicken. I wanted to love it but it's not worth it. Thank you for the kind offer but I don't need a free replacement. I know how tough small businesses have it. I will give this place another try in the future and hopefully I will love it then.
I had Rei dos Churrasco cater my son Stag and Doe and they did a phenomenal job. Mr.Fausto was very helpful on giving guidance on the amounts to get. The food was absolutely delicious, had so many compliments on the food. Thank you Rei do Churrasco for making such delicious food. If anyone is looking for delicious Portuguese food catered to any event, I would highly recommend Rei dos Churrasco.

5 stars is the only acceptable rating to give Rei Do Churrasco The staff & owner are absolutely amazing kind people, I came to place an order for a religious holiday & as I was leaving my Car died & phone was about to die, I was able to use their phone & wait inside with an espresso while waiting for a tow truck & while my phone charged. The food is absolutely amazing, it's homestyle Portuguese cuisine at its finest.
We have ordered catering from here for many events, big 100 people to small 10 and they never fail to disappoint. The food is always fresh, hot and most importantly DELICIOUS!! Everyone always asks where we get it from and are shocked with the quality and value. My go to items - BBq chicken, veal parmigiana, fried fish fillets, roast beef, rice, potatoes and custard tarts. As little treats for myself, I usually grab a small bag of chicharon fried pork rinds. I love to cook and am not too bad at it, but i cant beat the flavours Fausto owner and his team are able to create, so they are now my go to anytime we are hosting a family dinner. In addition to good food, the customer service is great and super friendly - they make you feel like family. Try them out for your next dinner or big event and I guarantee you and your guests will be back. Enjoy!
