Ivy Castle Restaurant by Renaissance the Creek

It is now called the Flames Castle. Under new ownership. Steak and sea food. Portuguese fare. Newly opened Patio. Loved the food we had tonight. Large portions. Excellent service. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant located on Dundas East in Mississauga. Grilled chicken & fries, Tbone steak with rice and Grilled Sea Bass with roasted potatoes. Fresh green salad. Starter of fried calamari and rustic bread platter.

Don't even know where to start with this one...This place is scam. Claimed to offer a special they had before changing names of restaurant. We called to confirm before booking and was quoted the price for two people. When we arrived they claimed we were not told that. When I brought up the price it seemed to jog her memory. She suggested we order the seafood platter in place of the all you can eat seafood buffet. I then asked what I would receive, she wasn’t to sure what came in it. I asked if this could be clarified and no answer was given. Bait and switch to get you in the doors.

Good place. I am enjoed my night. only food not ukranian only one borch and barbecue meat. I exspected evropian food not eel, musselsthis food in sushi restaurant. Hot meat 3 types served in 12am when most people exspected cakes.This meat waited early. Everything ok. I want to say this place have wonderful photographer. He did nice photo. Thank you.

If I could have I would give this review negative stars, it kills me to have to even put 1 star. This is most certainly the WORST restaurant I have ever been to. Had reservations and was seated late, staff took forever to take drink orders, once we received them that was the only drink we saw all night, and we were there for 3 hours. We ordered more and they never came. The servers were no where to be found and even when trying to flag someone down were completely ignored. Food took long to come and when it did we both got our steak and was told they would be back with our sides, we never got them. Our dinner was an undercooked, cold and terrible tasting filet mignon. And no sides! Asked for the bill and told them of all our issues and still ended up paying full price, even when we didn't receive our full meal. We paid so we could get get the eff out of there. Please I beg you do not waste your time or money on this restaurant, you would get better service at a local drive through. Also to note that their washrooms were gross, one stall wouldn't even close leaving two stalls that were dirty. It was awful.

The flames castle hosted me and wife’s wedding , first off what a great place ! From the chef to the service, They held it down really well , the service was 10/10 .. the FOOD !!! 10/10 !!! Everything was great and they made our day even more spectacular! THE CHEF is amazing cook , everything about this place is just right. Very happy - Sandy, Casey

This place is now called The Flames Castle. I wish I could give negative stars, as this is the worst Portuguese restaurant my family has ever been to. It kills me that this place is Portuguese because as a Portuguese person myself, this is not a quality restaurant. My family made reservations for last Saturday and it took forever to even receive a glass of water and our drinks. I ordered a mojito and that didn’t even come until 3.5 hours later. Only 1 out of 7 of us got the right dish, and that was the seafood platter. The rest of us were missing complete sides, or got the whole order wrong. 3 of us got served 30 minutes before the rest of the members of our party, and they had to stare at us while we ate before the food got cold. I had to remind the server about my mojito, and it still didn’t come by the time I was done my meal. I understand that this is not the servers fault, he was very apologetic and nice. We then asked for a dessert menu and espressos and this took over 45 minutes. By this time we were 3.5 hours past our reservation time and we just asked for the bill to get out as quick as we could. Also, we paid full price for the worst service I have ever seen. The server knew about all of these issues with missing sides, wrong meals, missing drinks, no refills on drinks, the servers never came to ask if we needed anything else we all got 1 drink and that was it for the whole night. This place should be ashamed.

I had my wedding here yesterday I want to give a big thanks to the owner and chef Adelino and his staff for going above and beyond and making our special day one to remember. The food was delicious and generously portioned and presentable. Our private photographer was amazed of the creative work put in the meals and she enjoyed snapping beautiful pictures of the food .The waitresses were friendly and supportive . My intimate wedding was a success and the atmosphere was stunning I give all my thanks to the team at The Flames Castle. Recommend this place to anyone looking to host a cozy event or just a regular night out this place is a gem ! Thank you Adelino and team

I would have given it -1* if I could. Horrible customer service!!! Manager is unpleasant to his customers, does not accept criticism, does not deal with issues at the restaurant...how can he, if he's also a band singer??? It's just ridiculous! There were around 350 guests and 2 waiters!!! No one deals with drunk customers... they just puked all over the restaurant, right beside their tables... no one cleaned the bathrooms. But the manager had fun - he sang the night awayHorrible experience! Will definitely never return there!

Great service! Delicious food! Patio is nice and fresh. No bugs, no smoke from the grill. Lots and lots of parking. Cant wait for indoors to open to see the inside of the new restautant.

Wanted to celebrate my birthday party. Came to talk about food and service and was very disappointed with the administrator's attitude to new client. He had no time to talk and explain. Didn't like the menu. No customer service at all. They should realize that customers are 1st.
