Lezzet Shawarma Falafel House

We've been going here for years and absolutely love it! We've tried other places in Mississauga but these guys are superior. The food is fresh and flavourful every time. Staff is quick and helpful. The place is always busy but the line moves quickly. My favorite thing to order is the mixed wrap but I'd also recommend the dinner platter or Ali J's

Good quality meat, Ali-j tastes great. Has a unique taste, sweeter than other on-the-rocks dishes from other Shawarma restaurants. Friendly staff, reasonably priced. 4 stars for the hours, closes way too early. Have wanted to eat here many times but realized it's closed.

I got the large beef and chicken Ali-J with rice. The chicken was seasoned perfectly while the beef for some reason tasted exactly like lamb? The rice wasn't seasoned at all which was disappointing but for 13.50 after tax the price was very good for the amount and quality of the food.Food: 5/5

This place was super busy and had a great vibe. I ordered the special of the day which was the Ali J’s platter. The chicken was delicious and I loved the shoestring fries! I kind of wish I didn’t get the special shawarma sauce and had just stuck with the garlic, cuz I didn’t realize the special sauce was sweet. Apart from that though, it was a solid spot!

Another great option for shawarma in the neighborhood. Found this place because of the number high reviews. When we got here the line was already outside. After we finished our meal, the line was still all the way to outside of the restaurant. I could taste that they really make everything fresh from the quality of the food and ingredients that they use. If you love spicy, their hot sauce is not spicy, so I would probably ask for extra and add jalapeno peppers too. Lastly, what makes people come back would probably due to the service as well. Though they're swamped with long queues, they all maintain composure and remain calm addressing everyone with greetings and accommodating their order patiently. They offered us to try the mango pickle and gave us baklava to try Are there better tasting shawarma out there? Of course! And we have few in mind. But 5 stars don't only come from the food alone...it's the overall experience. No wonder the long lines

This was my first visit to the restaurant and WOW it was very good. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter. Very delicious. It’s enough for two or three people I think, so I’ll have leftovers for tomorrow. I can see now why they have so many good ratings. I will definite go back next time I’m in the country. There's a good reason why Lezzet frequently has lineups, so be patient when you arrive because it's worth it. Went back to back days for the first time last week. I got the Ali J Chicken on rice or fries, w all the sauces - $11.50 for a large on Friday and the chicken shawarma platter on Saturday includes up to 4 side salads with garlic and tahini - $13.25 I can safely say this is a top 3 shawarma house in the GTA, prices are extremely fair for the portion sizes offered, ingredients are all fresh and the meat is tender and juicy without feeling greasy or heavy. The only shawarma place I've been to that offers BBQ sauce which is a nice complement to the dish. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Lezzet to others, thank you to the family running the business for the wonderful experience

Not my style of shawarma. Chicken was cut thin which made it very dry. Portion size to Price is little below average at $16. This I would consider more healthier style as they offer mixed variety of salads you can get within the plate. I did not like the pasta that was included, never had pasta with shawarma, not my thing. Flavour was ok overall, nothing stood out for me here, just felt like I wasted $16. There are much better places in Mississauga. Won’t name them as this is a review only for this spot. 2 stars for clean inside and service, as for the Shawarma style won’t be back. Whoever said this can feed 2 or more is straight up lying. Honestly if you haven’t visited every spot in Mississauga you have no idea what you’re talking about. Ask yourself if you been to every spot and if it’s a no, then stay quiet. I have been to every spot and I don’t get the hype here. “Real shawarma” is the dig at me? I just care about flavour, quantity and price. I’m not from the Middle East and have no pride to whatever the culture is there. Of course all these are subjective so to each their own. Cheers.
