The Dumpling King

Wow. This was an incredible dining experience! Personally, it was my first time at a restaurant that specializes in dumplings so I was blown away at both the quality of our order & the speed in which it was delivered. We ordered an array of dumplings, but my favourite were the crispy pan fried cabbage & pork dumplings. I left feeling so full & the price was right! I will definitely be returning! 5 Stars

Their dumplings are still the best in the GTA. We ordered the cabbage pork, lamb and veggie; they all tasted great. However, I was a bit disappointed when they served the cabbage pork on a plate, as I find the steam container more authentic and can retain the heat more effectively. Other than that, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Servers were nice and actionable. Kudos to the female manager who served the customers efficiently while supporting her fellow colleagues.

The food was so good, I couldn't wait to take pictures without trying everything first. Went here cause I heard the dumplings are made in house. They were amazing and did not disappoint. Best wonton soup I've had in a while. The serving sizes were generous, and the menu is appropriately priced. Service was good. Will be back soon :

Dumplings flavour is excellent, not too salty but also not bland. Service was fast as well. Wish we came with more people so we could have ordered more food because everything looked so good. Prices were also reasonable. If was exactly what we expected, small restaurant with great food!

Great classic northeastern food. Dumplings are great, but my fav here is the sweet and sour pork. Restaurant was packed during lunch time but food was served hot and fresh. One thing to mention: cash and debit only here.

Dumpling is fresh and juicy, tastes great. Marinated duck not too salty. Hot and sour soup just right taste. Would try other types of dumplings next time.

We visited Dumpling King on Lunar New Year and the place was packed. It was our first time there and we had to figure out the menu. There is complimentary tea while we did that and wrote down the items on a oiece of paper which is handed over to the waitress. We tried the Pork and leek potsticker, steamed mini pork buns, chicken and mushroom dumplings and some pork fried rice. All of the items were delish and served hot. I loved the potstickers. The hot sauce on the table elevated all of them. The staff were friendly. Definitely recommend it you like dumplings.

I love that their food was lightly seasoned. I can really taste the original flavour of the ingredients. The dumplings were super juicy with the soup inside not too oily like the ones I had at the other restaurants. I used to eat at this place so often when I was living in Scarborough and so surprised their food still so good and delicious.

Service was great, attentive and quick. Loved the dumplings! Would give 5 stars if there were more tofu and vegetarian dishes added to the menu.

Very good tasting authentic Chinese regional cuisine. Delicious dumplings and dishes. Tasted fresh and service was good. Late hours are great for people who work late just wanting a hot meal. Reasonable pricing
