I ordered the Seafood Chow Mein and Preserved Meat with Sticky Rice. The foods were fresh made to order, they tasted good and satisfied the craving for Chinese foods. They offer either soy milk or soup, I picked soup of the day which was some kind of fish broth.
Sometimes a meal is so bad you instantly regret it! That happened to be our takeout meal from Yogi’s Noodle. We were excited to trek to Chartwell Shopping Centre for a Scarborough food court experience. But sadly the food was subpar. For $36 after tax, Yogi’s Noodle offered a pick 3 combo plus soup & rice. However the Hotpot Braised Chicken was the worst dish that I had in a long-time. It seemed to be composed of chicken scraps on bone that tasted awful. We threw out most of it. Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin was passable with tender meat but half dish was filled with onions in a cost-cutting measure. Maggi Sauce Fried Shrimp had a decent sauce base but was filled with seemingly the rest of the onion!
Hadn't tried this place before but figured it was worth a shot. Really happy with the results! Baked porkchop on rice was really good. Just a bit under $10 and a decent amount of food. Good meat quality, the fried rice was nice and fragrant, the sauce wasn't just ketchup and they even threw in some actual tomatoes in there. Definitely going to give them another try in the future
Decided to give Yogi's Noodle a try since there was a long line at Canton Kitchen. Ordered the 2 dish combo deep fried pork chop in onion sauce + green beans with minced pork and side order of Cantonese Chow Mein. Total was $34 after taxes. Combo comes with a box of steamed white rice and soup of the day, which was a lotus root/pork broth. The pork chop and green bean dishes are comparable to Canton Kitchen. Cantonese Chow Mein is better at Canton. With how long the lines can get at Canton, I would just order from here instead.
Tasty noodles, good value, and very kind staff on my one visit here. I didn't realize it was cash only until after I'd ordered, so I had to cancel my order because I was out of cash. It took quite a while to find a working ATM and, being crunched for time, was worried that my lunch hour would end by the time I got my food. But much to my surprise, my order was waiting for me when I finally got back-- I couldn't believe they had gone ahead and made my food without payment. Next time I'm in that neck of the woods I will definitely stop by for more with cash!
The lady was very kind and patient. Helped me order the noodles I wanted. Noodles were fresh, not oily, amazing food and can’t go wrong for the price, 6.90 + tax.. $7.80 for this food is a steal. Waited approximately 5-7 minutes. I will be coming back. Thank you.
This place is slightly expensive compared to its neighbors. The taste is okay, the portions are okay. Please feel free to follow me on IG Mandilicous, tiktok missmandilicous for food and lifestyle posts
Yogi is the best when it comes HK style comfort Street food. My favorite is Bean sprout noodles They make the best in Toronto!!!
Taking order by speaking Mandarin, but when calling number for pickup by only cantonese which I don’t understand. Just waste your time by waiting meals already out.
Not as great as it once was. They've reduced portion sizes, and the flavor is lacking. I have never tasted such bland beef noodles and chow mein before. Only good thing about this joint are the prices, but if you want something of quality go elsewhere.
