This is probably my favourite hot pot place in Toronto. The ingredients is always fresh and delicious for a reasonable price. When you order, the food comes put fairly quickly and the service is friendly. On top of the all you can eat price, you still need to pay for soup base, but still worth it in my opinion. They get really busy at dinner time, so its best to go earlier if you can. Will definitely come back again and try their other all you can eat menu!
We had the premium set. Everything is great. But the main dish [MEAT] is too thinly sliced! I do not know what did I just put in my mouth at all. Not sure is it just a toilet paper or just dead skin after sun burn. I’m pretty sure the paper I used in their toilet is thicker than their beef. Anyway, the service was remarkable, our waitress Bella did a excellent job, a well display of high level politeness and professionalism.
As you can expect from Gyubee's sister hotpot restaurant, this place has incredible service and food. Food was coming out before I finished placing the order. Our waitress Mia was very attentive and made a lot of great suggestions for us! Would recommend paying the $2 more for two kinds of broth for variety. Value for money is great too - we came on a Saturday night and got two broths and it was just under $50 a person. I would recommend adding your name to the Yelp waiting list early. I put us on the list at 4:50pm and we were seated around 7:45pm.
Service is quick. Dessert is included. Spicy soup base has too much salt. Meat and Dipping sauce is tasty but not many selections. Overall the Japanese hotpot is worth a try but won’t return.
Food is fresh, soup base is good, sauce was interesting. But the sitting is very bad. My legs were numbed cause the stove is right there and you can't stretch your legs or make your legs straight. Also, we made reservations like 3 weeks ahead for 6 people but they still put us in a table for 4 people. None of us sat comfortably. Not sure was it because it's super busy now. The waiters are a bit rude and they have no patience with you. I think you need to choose the waygu set to have more food selections. Otherwise other hotpot places will be more worth it cause it's cheaper and have more selection of food. Honestly, I think one time is good enough. Probably won't go back.
Overall had a very good experience. The service was amazing. Our server came by our table pretty frequently to check on us even though the restaurant looked super busy. Even though it was busy, the items we ordered came out almost instantly every time. We chose the wagyu option which was around $85 per person + soup broth price price is more on the higher end side. As for the broth, we tried their most popular one which is the sukiyaki broth both non spicy & spicy and fell in love with the flavor! Never tried a hotpot broth like this before and it was sooooooo delicious. Would come back again and try the premium option!
A new hot pot eatery serving different all you can eat sets opened in early 2022. They only take reservation for over 5 quests. We went there at 6pm on weekdays was seated in 10 minutes. Nice and comfortable place. We ordered Wagyu beef sets and received attentive and friendly service in our two hour set time. The beef and seafood are good quality. The price is ok but the hot pot soup base $16-18 is additional. Thanks to our server Tim Li for his job well done.
Loved the experience! 100% recommend! The environment was great. Servers are friendly, especially Micky, she’s very detail-oriented, patient and very nice! The food was delicious, the flavour of the broth was just right! Also loved that there were free desserts included ice cream, creme brulee, taro chips were all yummy. Overall excellent experience!
Good quality meats and vegetables. No frozen dishes here. Hot pot broth was amazingly delicious and the service was on point! Welcoming and attentive. We opted for the wagyu set which included drinks. 20% off is a huge difference. Best hot pot I’ve been to.
I went here for the second time this past Monday. Food was great and fresh. They offer a good variety of soup bases so depending on what your preferences are - we ordered sukiyaki and spicy beef. Both were super savory! I really liked their dipping sauce - make sure to try them all! We paid around $50/person after tax and tips on a weekday night - it probably adds a few bucks if you go on the weekend. Since it's all you can eat - make sure you come hungry!
