Great place for Chinese food of all sorts. From casual fried noodles and congee to fancier stuff like lobster. The dishes are pretty generously sized and are great for sharing but you are limited if you're in a smaller group. The food is quite good and I found it to be a bit more heavily seasoned than other Chinese restaurants in the area. The main dining room can get a bit loud as it gets full. But I never found it too uncomfortable. Service was fast and friendly.
My first experience at this restaurant was promising and decided to try dining here. We ordered a plate of vegetables, battered deep fried oyster clay pot, seafood fried rice with bonito flakes, seafood vermicelli with cabbage and a salted egg battered lobster. Everything was delicious especially the lobster which had lots of salted egg batter. The only thing that was a minor dislike was the vermicelli was dry and didn't have much sauce. On the whole, the staff was courteous and friendly. Food was also good and filling. They also served a complimentary dessert which was not too sweet. Would come back again.
First time here with my family for dinner. We had a great customer experience. Great food proportions , great tasting food, love the Fruit Tea drink and the Bear Milk Tea. and excellent customer service. Price is right. Would definitely come back. I highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
It was my first time to the this restaurant. We ordered pepper & pork tripe with chicken pot, fired vermicelli Singapore style, fried tofu, and stirred fried vegetables. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious! The pot bowl had ample of meat. Stirred fried Vermicelli was not oily. Fried tofu was crispy outside, soft and smooth inside. Vegetables were fresh and stirred fried to perfection. We were delighted to have found this place. We’ll be back.
We went for dinner on its 2nd day of soft opening. First off, the waitresses were not well trained or working in an organized manner. We were given a waiting number that duplicated with another group of customers. Luckily we waited for half an hour and then got seated. When we were ready to order; we found that the paper menu that we grabbed from the counter top was for take-out only. That means they don't offer the normal combos for dine-in. So we ordered 3 dishes and 1 fried rice from the dine-in menu please refer to the photos. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was a bit better than the normal Canton Kitchen take-out dishes. The dish size was not big. I would say it used the medium/small size of plastic plates. They offered free hot beverages but we only ordered one cold drink which added 75 cents to the bill. After we finished eating, we waited for some time to get bill because all the waitresses were busy. The bill total is $80.36 which has included a 10% discount but also added with 12% of server tips on the after-tax total. I don't think I'll go again because the overall dining experience is not worth the price.
Recent Visit: We came here for dinner on Sunday. It was very busy. If you want to get a table, better be there early. They have a great selection on their menu. We ordered many of our favourite items and they tasted really delicious. It was nice to have a complimentary dessert Pumpkin Sagos after our meal. I have been their customer since their old location in the Chartwell Shopping Centre food court. The food quality and taste are even better now. The portion and price were very reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good in general. I liked the space between tables. It wasn’t crowded or busy when we went there for lunch on a weekday. My overall experience was pleasant and relaxing. Will definitely visit more often.
Provides huge selections of tasty Cantonese food, very good price and friendly service. Definitely will come again.
Food was better when it was Congee Town. Being fair, I’ll give an extra star for presentation. Seems like now they only care about decors rather than quality food and service they also forcefully include a 12% tip. It’s fine if the service is comparable but I don’t see it. Enjoyed it way more before than now.
Yummy food , and not salty. Good service. U can have VlP room if u eat $400 all inclusive . We will come back for Surely. Thanks for the chief hard work.
Came for lunch on their soft opening. Food quality are good. BBQ duck and roasting pig were not salty at all. Fried beef with noodles is good as it's not oily. Pepper and salt squid is particularly good.
