We ordered a lot of food from them because I miss Taiwanese food. It was our first time getting their meal, and we felt they could do better for the food. We ordered chicken popcorn, oyster omelette, rice sausage, deep-fried basket, beef noodles, and pork intestine vermicelli. Most of their food was bland, and it would be better if they added more salt. I do like the chicken popcorn tho, and all their food prices were excellent value.
Came in for a quick snack and got the Taiwanese sausage in sticky rice sausage. It tasted pretty average but lacked the depth of flavour and roasted aroma that's typical of this street food in Taiwan. Service was quick and efficient.
Quick and easy Taiwanese food. Have ordered here a few times. I like the variety of small side dishes to choose from but sometimes they are sold out and don’t have the side dish I want especially if it’s later in the evening so something to be aware of. They also have frozen food available which is handy for have at home so whenever my craving for Taiwanese food hits I have options to satisfy it!
The closest traditional Taiwanese Cuisine outside Taiwan. Authentic flavor, including the rare stinky tofu!! Owner is very nice!! Glad to find this place.
My favorite Taiwanese dish is popcorn chicken and it is the first dish I would try out whenever I visit a new restaurant. Wei’s popcorn chicken rice bento is not disappointing, the white pepper taste is slightly overdo in the chicken but overall taste is ok, it’s good value and portion is reasonable. The tomato egg side dish is surprisingly good. This restaurant also sells frozen food and has quite a variety to choose from. Will visit again!
The mains are good but the side dishes need some work. The egg and tomato had seriously over cooked eggs. Like rubber eggs. The rest of the side dishes were okay. The minced meat sauce was very tasty and likely my favourite. The popcorn chicken was also enjoyable.
The best stinky tofu in Toronto! All dishes and meal taste authentic Taiwanese food! We always go eat and buy some frozen food at same time.
Love getting my stinky tofu fix here, and the snack mix is another favorite. They have great fish cakes and pork blood sticky rice sticksI forgot the actual name of it you can order ahead online and pick up. Also stock up on frozen items too. The prices are very reasonable too. So good!
Delicious authentic Taiwanese food! A small, casual place like a real Taiwanese eatery/ and more grandma's cooking than hipster street food. Love their stinky tofu and every Taiwanese person's comfort food: beef noodle soup! The beef noodle soup is a great deal at only $9 compared to typical ramen prices at $13 and very flavourful, better than other Taiwanese places I've tried. Everything at this place is $9 from their bentos to noodle soups and other dishes. They do have tables and seating but most customers seem to do take out. I did eat there though.
Very yummy Taiwanese bian dangs. $9.49 plus HST each and they are big portions. You get to pick three side dishes from pictures. Cash or debit or e-transfer only. Go get some.
