Lovely atmosphere for dinner, and really enjoyed the option for the tasting menu overall. $49 for an amuse bouche, appetizer, main and dessert, and as the price of an appetizer plus main was already around or above $49, it felt like a better deal. The tomato tart came with a generous amount of burrata on top, and the tomatoes were delicious. The tart itself was a little hard, as even with the use of the knife, it was very resistant to cutting through. The beef carpaccio was larger than I expected, which was great as it tasted very good! There were a few potato chips as garnish on top that were a little stale/didn’t add too much to the dish, but the actual beef was delicious, so I would highly recommend this appetizer. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and very juicy, and the chicken was good with a delicious mashed potato on the side. The vegetable parmigiana was also surprisingly good as well, though I forgot to take a picture of it. Dessert was a little disappointing in comparison to the previous dishes however, as the apple crumble had lots of apple but very little crumble, and the lava cake was overpowered and made a bit soggy by the espresso shot drizzled over and around. Some hits and misses, but I think other than dessert, dinner was lovely, and I would recommend coming here for dinner if you’re staying at the hotel for convenience and a lovely ambience.
Took 30 minutes for someone to notice we had menus on our table, but no water. Water comes, order is taken and its been another 30 minutes, but food hasn't come yet and we had to ask for some more water. Server was nice enough to not charge for a Latte we ordered and offer 10%, but it would be nice to just get our food... Still waiting. Update: Food came over an hour after being seated and over 45 minutes after ordering. When the food came, we were asked if we needed anything else like hot sauce or ketchup... We said yes to both, but also had to ask for utensils. The server definitely tried their best, but there needs to be some improvement... I can't imagine how busy they would've been over the Canada Day weekend.
Best place to eat while staying on site. We had a dinner and a brunch. For dinner, we had lobster gezpacho amuse bouche, smashed potatoes, chilli garlic broccolini, truffled mushroom risotto, strawberry cheesecake and lava cake with a glass of beer and wine. The food was tasty and the service was good especially given how busy it was. The atmosphere was very nice with beautifully decorated space and lights on the patio at dusk. Sunday brunch was amazing - lots of sweet and savoury options. We were too full after the first serving, otherwise would have tried everything. They made a really nice oat milk latte and fresh orange juice. This was my favourite meal at Nita.
Wonderful dining experience for the tasting menu. Our server, Bruno was charming, lovely and attentive. Thanks for the drink recommendation “Material Girl”, it was so good. Really appreciated that each course had a delicious vegan option including dessert and the amuse! that weren’t just afterthoughts but, thoughtfully thought out dishes. We were there early so had the best seat in the house. The view was stunning. Can’t wait to go back! Vegetarian options: Vegan for us but there were vegetarian options as well. They weren’t just afterthoughts, but we’ll thought out dishes. Dietary restrictions: Really appreciate that the tasting menu had vegan options for every course.
The Den is absolutely incredible- it is fairly priced, beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and fabulous service! My husband and I eloped and booked the semi-private table. The Den made us feel so special. We were greeted with complementary bubbles. We were also given a complementary app and THREE amazing desserts. The manager, Craig, also came over a few times and chatted! He gave us some awesome recommendations and truly just took care of us on top of the great server. We will definitely be heading back multiple times on our trip.
Awesome atmosphere and great service. Food was delicious too. We got the 4 course meal and couldn’t be happier. Our table also had a perfect view into the kitchen which was an added benefit to the dinner as well!
Really nice atmosphere with great views! The truffle risotto was amazing, I think the best I’ve ever had!Food: 5/5
Had the fall 3 course tasting menu for $49. It was amazing! Each course was full size … even bigger than a regular size I’d say. Each course was so delicious. Highly recommend.
The Den at Nita lake for dinner - service is terrible. Great food - overpriced comparatively to the competition in the area there are a couple of phenomenal local eateries very nearby Taste - great taste l, great flavour combination and unique dishes. Service - they need to step up their game BIG TIME! Staff doesn’t know the menu or truly how to provide higher end dining experience. Honestly for dinner - you are better off going to another local spot that has great food AND service.
We had a magnificent experience dining at this restaurant. Chef Mike is so talented . The food was made to perfection . Our group of six ordered a lamb dish to share . The taste was incredible and we travel and eat at Michelin star restaurants in France Italy Croatia , and so on . The next day we had an amazing see food pasta and sable fish that was made to perfection. The atmosphere is romantic, scenic , and magical . The waitress Julietta from Argentina was so sweet tentative knowledgeable about the wine and we felt like we were guests at the very hospitable home . The entire experience was perfect two nights in a row . This is a gem !
