Beautiful location and rooms but absolutely no amenities. Customer service and accommodation was terrible. No common spaces to wait for room check-in. Somehow the people in our room before us could check out at 1pm but my check out was a strict 11am. No help upon arrival. WiFi was subpar. No washcloths or mug and tea replacement. Disappointed for the price. However, a few of the staff were very nice including one man in housekeeping and one girl at check-in so thank you for that
Stayed for 5 nights. Staff were great! The hotel is located not far from downtown. Very walkable location and the streetcar stops right outside. Room was quiet but could have been a bit cleaner: dust and crumbs in corners and under the bed. We had a view of the dog park next door, which was entertaining. Rooftop bar has a great view of the city. Would stay again.
I stayed two nights at the hotel and had drinks and nibbles on the patio. Both experiences were top notch. The room had a lot of details that set it apart from traditional hotels. A white noise machine. A record player. The overall design and functionality of the room made this a special stay. The patio bar can’t be missed. Incredible views, fantastic cocktails, delicious food and top notch service. Highly recommend.
The Broadview Hotel was a great place for a short stay in Toronto.nThe service was excellent and reception staff were really friendly and helpful.nRooms were maybe a little small, if you were staying for more than a couple nights, and not much space for luggage. But they were perfectly clean and we loved the little touches of music related vibe.nWe tried the breakfast in the bistro downstairs on our final day and it was delicious. I'd say mid range expensive for breakfast but very very plentiful.nThe only thing we didn't try was the rooftop bar, as we didn't have time, so we can't comment on that.nLocation wise, it is a little out of the centre and transport was sometimes a bit difficult to figure out getting back. However there is a bus stop directly outside which is really useful.nAll in all, I would definitely recommend the hotel for a few days on Toronto.
Myself & a friend just recently stayed here for Three nights while we were visiting for a concert. The staff who checked us in were really polite and allowed us to check in early for a small fee. When we got up to the room, we realized that it looked nothing like the picture on the booking website. They had a king sized bed cramped into a very small room. There was only one place for someone to sit at the desk and no extra chair provided. The bathroom was ridiculously small, especially for two women having to share it. The shower is atrocious. A very light drizzle that comes from a non-changeable head in the ceiling, I felt more gross after the shower then what I did before I got in. Cleaning staff never cleaned our room once or changed out our bed the whole time we were there. We would constantly have to fight for toilet paper and clean towels. Super stingy on face cloths, we had to ask everyday for stuff that should have been provided. At one point our trash was so overfull we ate our meals in the room instead of going out so we could unwind that we had to beg the cleaning lady to come and empty our garbage. The garbage in the bathroom was emptied only once. Everytime we left the room, we were corned by the cleaning lady and she would ask us what needed to be done in the room which was weird because we assumed every room got a light cleaning or check in every day. We would not stay here again, underwhelming and disappointing.nnEdit to respond to the owner:nWe checked in on November 3rd & stayed in room 402.
