I loved this hotel! Stayed here for my birthday in a cute room during march. We had a small room but it was perfect for two people. It was different from any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in, very boutique, rustic, and warm feeling. It’s the perfect location and the rooftop bar is gorgeous. Will definitely return!!
Last weekend, my wife was celebrating her birthday and I wanted to surprise her with a special, unique weekend getaway. The Ace Hotel was my choice and we were not disappointed. She loved the simplicity of the design in our room but the quantness and warmth of it as well. We were impressed with the professionalism of the staff and how welcome we felt. Infact, one of the staff who met us in the elevator wished her a happy birthday, how attentive. We planned an early dinner in the Alder Restaurant before going to the Leaf game. The service and dinner was excellent. The morning greeting by the staff, cappacino and coffee cake muffin was the perfect way to start the day. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend special for us.
We absolutely LOVED our stay here.nnThe room was super cosy and very clean.nWe ordered room service a couple of times, and it was very easy to navigate and order through our phones. We tried the Caesar salad, charcuterie board, salmon bagels, and coffee, and everything was DIVINE.nnCheck-in and check-out were also incredibly easy, all done through our phones, which made our check-in/out experience very smooth.nnThe location was also great! The area had a lot of great cafés, markets, and food options within walking distance, which we really liked.nnOverall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again! :
We spent the weekend celebrating the Wedding of Niall and Melissa. It was perfect in every way. The staff everywhere in the hotel from the desk onward were amazing. Everyone so friendly. Thanks for making our sons wedding a weekend to remember.
I've stayed at Ace Hotels around the world New York, LA, Kyoto and Toronto has to be one of the best experiences I've had. They're pet-friendly and our Shiba Inu was treated like a celebrity from the moment we walked in. Ema and the hotel staff were lovely and so kind to us - thank you for the upgrade!nnThe hotel itself is a nightlife hot spot with a stylish rooftop space and an excellent restaurant-bar downstairs. It's also a refuge within the city, across from St-Andrew's Playground, which has a dog run and the adaptively re-used Waterworks building.nnThe architecture and interiors, by local firm Shim-Sutcliffe Architects, are beautifully detailed and so well-executed. They've captured both the Ace Hotel essence and a Canadian aesthetic with the laminated wood frames, iron-spot brick and textures colourful rugs, handmade comforters etc. There are so many amazing details you really have to take the time to explore the curated selections of art, vinyl, retro-modern industrial design and so much more.
