We loved our stay at ace Toronto. Our room was surprise upgraded from a large room to a suite!!! It was the largest hotel room I’ve ever been in! It was beautiful and such a lovely gesture and surprise. The staff are all wonderful. The architecture is phenomenal and the location across from a large park, food hall and just around the corner from Queen and Spadina can’t be beat.
Great hotel - Alder is a fantastic restaurant. If you're lucky enough to get Tiffany as your server you're in good hands. She probably offered the best service we've ever seen in a Toronto Restaurant, patient, attentive and friendly.nThe hotel itself is really cool and offers a cool and unique vibe. It was quite expensive when we went but overall would probably go again.
This hotel was recommended to me by a client, and their assertion that I'd be well taken care of and well-rested here was spot on. It is a quiet location at night, but during the day, you're never far from something interesting. Graffiti Alley is nearby, as are many lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Outside my window, a playground, dog park, and outdoor space gave an atmosphere of home. I would definitely stay here again!
Really nice stay, great bedding, location, service and restaurant. Also a nice lounge and rooftop to spend time in. Tons of great restaurants, food halls and walkable things nearby.nnCons: we got the medium room and didn't even have a proper bathroom. 0/10. There is also visible mold in our shower and no proper ventilation. The toilet is basically in the bedroom. Not much space to maneuver around. A bit noisy in the hallway. A bit overpriced IMO but overall nice hotel.
Small rooms. Small bathroom No ironing board or iron. Few electrical outlets. No coffee in room and no coffee in lobby until 7:00 am and then it cost 4.25 a cup. No microwave. Check my pictures. Plywood closets made with cheap grade plywood . Lamp cords stapled to the wall and plugged in. There go two plugs in use already. Fridge is filled with things to purchase. But it’s clean and people are nice or it would get a 1. No coffee in a room and no iron is usually an automatic 1 score. It’s a nicely designed Bar, restaurant and lobby but that’s about the only pluses for such an expensive hotel.
