Ace Hotel Toronto

I chose Ace Hotel Toronto largely for its architecture, which is undeniably striking. The combination of concrete, brick, and wood creates a sophisticated, beautifully considered space.nnThe hotel itself, however, was less compelling. The rooms are quite small, and I was disappointed to find a stains on the leather bench. The hotel’s minimalist aesthetic simply isn’t for me. Given the price point, I feel there are better values in the area. The location is excellent, with St. Andrew’s Park directly across the street and restaurants within easy reach. Ultimately, I admired the architecture far more than I enjoyed the stay.

Hotel is nice, rooms are nice. It can be a bit loud as the vibe is a bit young and people are often coming to their rooms after being at the rooftop bar. The solution to that is either earplugs, ignore it or visit the rooftop bar….. the rooms are kept nice and cool & the beds are comfy. I wouldn’t bother “upgrading” from the cozy to a king room unless you get one with a view. The standout here for me is always the staff, they’ve been super accommodating to requests and small changes. It is also a very pretty hotel.

Stayed here for a night when staying for a convention at MTCC, and had a tremendous experience. Staff was incredibly courteous and friendly, drinks were delicious, and got a great night's sleep. Love that the room had both a shower and a tub. Lots of thoughtful little touches that will guarantee we absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Ace Hotel! The hotel is really beautiful and we loved the rooftop bar. The concierge was very nice and welcoming upon check-in.nnWe didn’t have any issues with noise on our floor but it does get pretty busy/rowdy on a weekend night, which we didn’t mind, but something to mention depending on the type of stay you’re looking to have.nnThe hotel is in a convenient location downtown and there is a parking garage right across the way underneath the food hall. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Stayed at Ace Hotel for a weekend staycation and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The room was spacious, and had a view overlooking the park, which gave the stay a surprisingly calm feeling for downtown Toronto.nnThe hotel amenities were good, breakfast on the top floor was enjoyable, and the in-suite dining was genuinely very good. The food arrived right on time, and the quality was just as good as dining downstairs at Alder. Overall, it felt like a stylish and comfortable city escape for a weekend.
