Montecassino Hotel and Event Centre

Was at the hall for an event, and everything went well. Nice atmosphere, staff was friendly and helpful. The star dropper is the drink machine didn't have fize and the drinks were flat.

Overall was ok place to stay. Close to Subway/Go train, which was perfect and the room was fairly spacious. The Tv were so small that there was no way I would be able to watch it from the couch/bed. We didn’t need the tvs but still. The breakfast was a joke and it was so hard to FIND the entrance to the actual hotel. Overall, not the worst but definitely not the best. It was also very noisy in the day cause the cleaners made lots of noise in the hallways.

They charge you upfront and if you need to cancel, they will give others your room but you won't get the money back unless you go through your card company! They can make millions with just one room! A scam hotel. Probably run by the mafia! Law says that you have 48th hours and I canceled after 12! Hotel was booked 4 months in advance!

This was a decent place to stay, location is good.nContinental breakfast could use some help, as well as staffing.nRoom is good, but very dark in the day, but when the parking lot lights come on, it would be nice to have curtains that block out the lightnCould be a bit cleaner, certainly wouldn’t hurt.

10 min walk to subway station that also has Go transit. Easy when exploring the city. Few restaurants at 15 mins walking distance. Initial room assigned had poor wi-fi so they switched to another one and worked fine.
