From the moment I arrived at 1 Hotel Toronto, my experience was nothing short of amazing. The valet service set the tone for the day—an attendant warmly opened my door, made me feel right at home, and ensured that even my arrival was special.nnCheck-in was seamless, with the front desk staff engaging in a friendly conversation while thoroughly explaining everything we needed to know about our stay. A standout touch was the valet service bringing our luggage directly to our room, which was incredibly helpful.nnOur room was spacious, beautifully designed, and comfortable. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service; the best I’ve ever experienced. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.nnI will definitely be returning. Highly recommend 1 Hotel Toronto to anyone looking for top-tier hospitality!
We currently live in the 1 hotel residence And had to find alternative accommodation for a week to have some work done , so we decided to stay local within the building Our stay was for a week 8 nightsin this amazingly fabulous Hotel. The Hotel is spotless. Staff are very friendly.from front desk to housekeeping. Everything you need for a luxurious & comfortable stay. Great beds! Flora lounge is beautiful as is Harriet's rooftop pool bar.nWould highly recommend ! Oh and the best bit .. it's dog friendly
The rooms were nice and spacious. The beds were comfy. There is food in the rooms but you will need to pay for it there is barcode there . The hotel environment is nice . It’s spacious . There are fruit water in the main floor in the morning . The rooms are expensive. The location is pretty close there are a lot of things around the hotel. I wish there was better view . Overall a good experience.
I stayed here while visiting Toronto for the Eras Tour. All hotels in the city had outrageous prices during these weekends so I figured I’d pick a special place to at least get a luxurious experience for the money. Here is what I found:nn+nBeautiful hotel, comfortable and spacious room.nFriendly staff, super helpful concierge.nI had a specialty cocktail “The 1” at the lobby bar and it was delicious!nThemed decorations and menu items for the Eras Tour created a fun atmosphere building on the excitement all over the city.nn-nWhen asked about my arrival time I told them I would be arriving in the city early, so an early check in would be appreciated but I understand it cannot be guaranteed. When I arrived, the room was not even ready at the guaranteed time and I had to wait even longer.nThere was a construction site outside my room - although not constant noise, there was some noise that started at 6am Saturday morning.nIn my pre-check in message I was told about the yoga every Saturday morning. I was excited about that because I stayed only one night, Friday to Saturday, and thought it would be a great way to exercise before starting on my trip back. I packed workout clothing just for this. At the hotel itself all the signs said Sunday, and when I asked this was confirmed; there is no yoga or any other exercise class on Saturdays.nThe mini bar is well-stocked, but therefore there is no fridge space to keep personal items cold.nn*Editing to add that the hotel reached out to me and offered a refund on the breakfast I had at their restaurant to apologize for the room not being ready and for the noise. They also encouraged me to reach out before booking my next stay with them if I am back in town so they can make sure I get a good room. I was very impressed by how they handled this, and feel that they really value their guests. I would stay here again next time I am in Toronto.
The good: overall service was exceptional, every staff we encountered was lovely. Our terrace room was spacious with a comfy bed, although a small-ish bathroom. Great breakfast selection at the 1 Kitchen. We were snowed in one day and thoroughly enjoyed the lounge bar and the hotel restaurant Casa Madera.nnThe not so good: lack of sound proofing. Our corner room was terribly noisy, we could hear every hallway conversation, barking dogs, as well as every door closure. Stayed here during a long weekend, with commotion until early hours of the morning, making our stay less relaxing than planned.nnPSA: Watch out for the in room $9 hotel branded water. We went through 2 before realizing it. Could have been worse. Lol.
