The Brick - St. Catharines

This store in particular has a very nice showroom with a lot of selection to view, in comparison to other Bricks in the Niagara region. Our sales representative, Hemant was a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us as we browsed various sofa options. Best experience we have had with regards to furniture shopping (which can be stressful) and it's most definitely thanks to our sales representative Hemant.

Insanely rude. I was shopping for a new mattress and I had an associate following me around for a few minutes. She finally caught me in the bed section and asked what I’m looking for. Of course she immediately went to the most expensive beds and when I told her my budget was much smaller she looked disgusted at me. She showed me some more affordable mattresses but at that point I could tell she really didn’t care about me as a customer. Then when I turned to ask my boyfriend what he thinks he reminded me we just started looking and once again she basically rolled her eyes. When he suggested we look at another store as well, she walked off without saying anything to us. I don’t care if it’s commission or not, manners and courtesy matter. It could have been the BEST deal ever and I would have never purchased with this store because of her. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Never going back and definitely not recommending.

I had a horrible delivery experience. I was the last stop of the day having a couch and loveseat delivered. Right off the bat they both delivery men were in a miserable mood. They clearly wanted to rush in and out and said they would be unable to get my furniture down the stairs. It was apparently too wide. They said they would take it back for me and I could purchase other furniture that would fit better. I asked them to please try because I had removed a couch that morning that was exactly the same size. They attempted to take the love seat down and -SURPRISE -it fit. They then started to take the couch down, but said it was too long and they couldn't get it around the corner. IT WAS THE SAME LENGTH AS MY PREVIOUS COUCH. At this point i was so annoyed and frustrated I said the leave it upstairs and I would take care of it. That night my 60 year old mother in law and myself ( a much smaller female then the 2 delivery men) were able to take it down the stairs and set it up. No clue why I paid a delivery fee for a half ass job.

Purchased a couch, loveseat and chair at St.Catharines location Feb 23. They said we could have the loveseat and chair right away but the couch would be Mar 11.We agreed. The chair showed up March 2, the loveseat, Mar 13 and the couch Mar 21. Delivery agents were obtuse to deal with but the reason I'm writing a review is the last delivery. Scheduled for between 3-6PM on Saturday we made arrangements to have someone there as we were at kid's hockey. At 1:15 they called, said they were done early and if we weren't there we'd have until next week again for delivery. Leave kids hockey or wait another ? to get the couch they were already 10 days late delivering ...thanks The Brick! Relationship over. ...and every person who sees our new furniture will get the great word of mouth you've earned...don't bother with The Brick! Based on the other reviews I see I'm not alone. Update, couch is 2yrs old...springs are stretched and it sags to the middle. Great for snuggling, awkward for guests...unless you're trying to get to know them really well.

Had a great experience at the brick, St Catharines. The sales associate was very knowledable about the product. And he got me a great deal. Would go to him again for more in the future. Thanks Mike
