The Alley Hub

My boyfriend and I visited the store yesterday and really love how they’ve made the space so work/laptop friendly! There are plugs everywhere! Seating and the space itself is very modern and clean. The washrooms are roomy and we’re also clean and tidy. They have an extensive drink menu offering the classics as well as exclusive drinks only offered at this location. I wish it wasn’t so far from the subway system or that all their locations were like this as it’s so hard to find a place with good drinks, plugs for laptops, and strong wifi. I put one star down as the tables are situated right on the same side as the door, so when the door opens, cold wind would come in and hit those seated at the tables. For a day like yesterday it would have been nice if they turned up the heat a little bit.

They have regular Alley drinks here and also special drinks that are only available at this location hub. There is a lychee drink as well as a coffee menu that I'd only available here. Tried the dalgona milk tea and really enjoyed it. It has the same slight blueberry hint in the milk tea but with dalgona on top which blends together really well in terms of flavour. The place is very clean and cozy and seems like it would be ideal for grabbing a drink and doing work during the day.

First time visit everything was great, I ordered the black sesame latte and they had made it really good. But second visit, complete different experience.. in a negative way… I ordered the same drink as I did the first time and I remember the workers who were there the first time as they were there again. The drink was made so bad, EXTREMELY sweet! I asked one of the guys working there I assumed he was the manager? if he could fix my drink because it was so sweet. He just replied ‘ that’s just the way the drink is made with that ingredient’ He tried to dilute the drink with some water to make it less sweet as I asked him to do something to reduce the sweetness. Unfortunately that didn’t work. So I asked if he could scrape off the foam from the top of the drink and he also said he couldn’t do that either!? ….Seriously?!… I wasn’t even asking them to re-make my drink, just take off some foam as that was the problem and barely drinkable because it was so sweet, but they couldn’t even do that.. Wasted my money on a horrible drink they messed up on. Very disappointed in their customer service especially when are brand new too. They deny their customers to fix a problem when there is an issue with their product. The drink sucked and their customer service sucks. No consistency in making their drinks and rejects customers to make things right.

Friendly staffs!! Very spacious and perfect spot for hanging out with friends or doing computer work by myself. Lots of seats and plugs. There is room booking if you need private spaces for meetings. Go early and enjoy their exclusive coffee menu!

Replacing the old Starbucks at the corner of the plaza, the Alley Hub invites a modern twist on “working at a coffee shop” experience!! There’s plenty of outlets, bright lighting, and coffee-infused bubble tea!!

I love to study here! The drinks are very high quality and the staff go above and beyond to enhance your experience as much as possible. They also serve good food that can be made into a combo for 2$ extra if you buy a drink. My favourite order is the Snow Velvet Peach Hojicha Latte with Lychee Jelly and the Spinach Feta pastry.Food: 5/5

Visited on March 18 during the March break. It was soft opening so there’s 10% off discount. They didn’t have the taro balls as they haven’t got any shipment in the past month, but hojicha milk tea itself was really good. I look forward to try the taro balls soon. Visited again at 9:15am on the first weekend when they officially opened. Nothing was ready and was told to return at 10. Their hours start at 9 thought. It was disappointing given that I made this trip for bubble tea only because they said they would open at 9. Still no bubble tea place would open in the morning, so this place isn’t the unicorn I was hoping for. Visited again on July 23. The cashier said a drink would take 5 minutes but it took more than 20 minutes. Customers came to order but they were too busy to greet them or take orders.

Great store!! Friendly staff, superhelpful with suggestions and absolutely delicous drinks! Been twice and definately coming many more times!! Edit: been multiple times tried most everything on the menu, my go to place to go with my best friend! Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is level with the ground, no steps

I got the deerioca fever drink in the regular size, first of all the size of the cup is definitely more like a small, not to mention the drink tasted like spoiled milk, it was sour and I've never tasted something so disgusting. I found a hair on the inside of my drink, the tapioca tastes fine but the center of it felt grainy and undercooked. My friend tried my drink and said the same thing, big waste of 7 bucks.

Quite like this location! Tried the warm version of the number 3, if you have a sweet tooth this is the one to go for. My friends tried the number 1 and number 3, cold and with soy milk. They quite liked it. The staff was very kind and helpful and answered all of our queries and assisted well with our order. : Dietary restrictions: They have the option of choosing soy milk, extra charge for other drinks barring #1.
