I celebrated my baby shower at My Cup Of Tea Dessert and it was the best choice ever. The tea selection was amazing. I didn't even have time to try them all. The food was very fresh, delicious and cute. The scones were my favorite All my friends were so impressed and happy with the experience. If you are looking to celebrate your baby shower, bridal shower or birthday in a different way, this is definitively a great choice. The local is kid friendly, it has wheelchair accessibility and the plaza has plenty of parking. The owner, Patricia, was very attentive, helpful and friendly. I can't wait to be back and try the rest of their seasonal tea sets.
It is a hidden spot for tea and desserts. Came here with a friend, ordered a blueberry herbal tea, and it tastes great with the fruity fragrance. Also ordered cheese cake, it’s beautifully presented, tastes average though. They also offer high tea combo in bird cage , will come back to try that next time. Staff is friendly and service is fast. Like the relaxing atmosphere, perfect for girls gathering!
There aren't too many afternoon tea places north of the city most are downtown Toronto, so My Cup of Tea is a great option for those looking for afternoon tea uptown. While I definitely still have my favourite spots downtown, I've visited My Cup of Tea on a few occasions over the years, and it's consistently been an enjoyable experience. Each time I've gone, the desserts and savoury items have changed based on various seasons/holidays, so there's always something new. The chef/baker is also very hands-on, often coming to check on guests or explain menu items. Reservations are a must the space is small and can only seat a few parties, and they need to know in advance for afternoon tea sets. Our most current visit, an afternoon tea set was $35 + tax per person. As a note, I don't think they are able to accommodate certain dietary needs, so it's best to check their website or to call ahead to be sure.
Tried afternoon tea for the first time. Their were many different tea options to choose from. They scones and the desserts were nice but savoury options were just okay. I liked how they have different themes throughout the year so the afternoon tea is not always the same. Service was also good and owner was nice and friendly explaining the different components.
Lovely afternoon tea Cafe in Richmond Hill. My girlfriend and I visited this past weekend for their Valentines Afternoon Tea special. It was superb value for a delicious Asian Fusion tea time. There's an excellent selection of tea as well as coffee to choose from. We ended up going with the Lychee Jasmine Green Tea and Fig Leaf Rooibos tea which were the perfect pairing to the sandwiches and desserts. The sandwiches/savory treats were splendid - especially the Montreal Smoked meat sandwich. It's not a traditional high tea experience but it's an aesthetic, delicious and fun affair all for a reasonable price.
Service was good. Place was busy which is nice to see because of COVID. A little too loud for me as a few tables were almost shouting at one another overly excited. Price for high tea was super reasonable. Food was okay, nothing special though. Scones were chewy and not flakey and light. They seemed under baked. Panna cotta wasn't soft and silky but extremely firm maybe too much gelatin. Good place to bring your kids for high tea as their prides are reasonable compared.to other places and the presentation in the bird cages was fun.
I was looking for a place to have afternoon tea with a friend but didn't want to drive downtown. My Cup of Tea was the perfect choice! Everything tasted amazing and they had such a variety. The tea was the best tea I've ever tasted sounds extreme but it's true! I will absolutely be returning!Food: 5/5
I absolutely love this high tea spot. I've been here three times now in the course of a few months enjoying their seasonal menu. I love the variety of sweet and savoury treats that changes each time I visit, as well as their scones super soft and fluffy which is always on the menu. Staff is very friendly too!
Great place, great price! Perfect place for a date with a friend. Also accommodated our nut allergy! We had the fall collection which had a wonderful assortment of scones and mini sandwiches, along with matcha flavoured desserts. Tea assortment wasn't bad, and they had various fruity, black, and green teas to choose from.
Came here for their afternoon tea set. There were lots of great tea options over 30! The scones were delicious and I love the earl grey infused scone and cream puffs.
