Thai Plate Restaurant

I've dined in at the Thai Plate many times, including on holidays like Valentine's Day and Good Friday. I've also ordered take-out many times. Whenever my partner and I get a chance to dine in somewhere we almost always choose Thai Plate because the food is exceptional. I have allergies to certain additives and preservatives found in fast food and many large, chain sit down restaurants - I have never had issues with Thai Plate. It's clear that their meals are fresh from fresh ingredients. The customer service is always friendly and the atmosphere is comfy while also classy enough to give a special night out ambiance. Thai food is great for anyone with dietary concerns since much of it can be naturally dairy-free, gluten-free and vegetarian.

Phenomenal staff and service. My favourite for a fun casual lunch or dinner with friends and family. Recommend reserving for lunch & being on time for the reservation!! Being respectful of the staff’s role and the small scale seating (in winter) as you’ll lose your spot otherwise - as we should :). Absolutely Great patio in the warm months looking forward to our next visit. Owner operator is hands on involved and an amazing host! Great for a gathering of friends old and new.

We went here for dinner. The food was ready soon and the portion sizes were huge including lots of meat. Tasted good. The restaurant was very cold though. We both had to keep on our winter jackets to be more warm and comfy, but that’s not really preferred in a restaurant.

Incredible food. So fresh every single time. Affordable and pleasant atmosphere. My favourite restaurant in Orillia! ♡♡♡ Thank you for the delicious food!!

Great good... very fresh and flavourful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a small place and can be quite busy. The Friday buffets are a great way to try different foods.
