We had an excellent experience at Theo’s Eatery! The food was delicious and fresh and the service was phenomenal. We also got a chocolate cake slice and it was very good. I particularly liked the Penne California pasta, it was so tasty! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Went there for weekend supper with a reservation, though when we got there, there were open tables. The family-owned restaurant came highly recommended by the locals, so we had to try it.nnThe stuffed mushrooms were great appetizer for sharing, and the crab dip was amazing. I ordered pork ribs with spaghetti for my entree. The ribs were saucy and tender, while the spaghetti came with meat sauce that was full of flavours. While I am not exactly a pasta expert, I could imagine eating that meat sauce everyday. The chicken parm and chicken breast also received rave reviews from my table. I came out of the restaurant full and satisfied.nnThis restaurant is now my choice place to visit whenever I am in the area craving for Italian cuisine.

The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The food was incredible—every dish, from the appetizers to the main course, was bursting with flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and aromatic. You can tell they use the freshest ingredients. Absolutely one of our very favourite restaurants anywhere! We've been semi-regulars at Theo's for around fifteen years now, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. The food is prepared in-house - which definitely makes a huge difference - and everything we've had here has been unbelievably good. The chicken souvlaki, the veal cutlet, the steak sandwich, any of the baked pasta dishes, the Greek salad, the coconut curry shrimp...the list of fantastic dishes goes on. It's obvious from the appearance & taste of the meals that the people in the kitchen really care and they clearly enjoy what they're doing - a real plus! Service is always prompt & friendly...and the food always arrives HOT, not just warm. Note that reservations, especially for dinner, are strongly advised - it's worth a quick phone call to ensure that you get a table.nnNow that so many places have gone the corporate route, with predictable chain restaurants littering the landscape with their mediocre factory food, trucked in and assembled/re-heated but not actually prepared on site, a place like Theo's becomes even more likeable. This restaurant is a Genuine Treasure, and always worth the drive to Orillia...from wherever you are. My highest possible recommendation.

We went last night for a birthday. The atmosphere was 10/10. Our server Erin was 10/10. We really wanted to love it here. We had Veal Parm and lasagna. Same sauce on both. Lasagna was almost inedible. Loaded with cheese on top but the noodles were cut into 1 cm strips and were gooey. The sauce was brown and not good. I think there was pepperoni in it. Because the staff and atmosphere were so good we might try again, but not order pasta. Sorry. Just being honest.
