I had such a positive experience at this TD branch. I came in unexpectedly needing some immediate help, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. They treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine care—something you don’t always find these days. What stood out most was how quickly they responded to my situation without hesitation, making sure I was comfortable and taken care of.nnIt wasn’t about a complicated transaction or financial product, but the way they handled the moment spoke volumes about their professionalism and customer-first attitude. I left feeling grateful, supported, and impressed with the level of service. This branch truly makes you feel like more than just a customer.
Came in to do a simple deposit today and ended up doing so much more! Lori at the counter, went over and above today, with her friendly, fast and professional service!nOn a sidenote, the two instant teller machines that I have had many problems with in the past have been “removed“ and will be replaced with the old style machines that are much more reliable. As of right now, there is some damage to the exterior wall from the removal of the machines , that is currently being repaired.nVery clean branch With friendly staff.nAlso, at 12:00 PM on a Tuesday I did not even have to wait in line
I've been banking here for 10 years and over the course of the last 12 months at this branch, ESPECIALLY the new managers behind the tellers are horrible. 5-7 staff behind the counter, 2 of them working while the rest are talking, while there are 10-15 people waiting in line. Also the attitude of some of the senior staff is quite funny, they walk around with their noses in the air like they're solving world hunger or the climate crisis, get over yourselves. You are in the customer service business, be better!
The last time I went to the bank to pay the CRA, the teller paid it from my Savings account inspite of me specifically telling him to pay from Chequing account. Now because of his mistake, I'm being charged withdrawal fee. When I went back in and told him about it, he didn't even apologize and is telling me that it's the end of the month and is fine. This is ridiculous! Why am I being charged for your mistake?
This TD Bank has a very customer service focus. They love checking up on people and the vibe here is very friendly and welcoming. It's clean and well maintained and everyone is very helpful. Their ATMs are one of the newer models and is super easy to use. Additionally, this location is very clean and very accessible via transit.nnNote: This location serves the old locations of 666 Burnhamthrope and Martin Grove/Burnhamthorpe TD branches.
